Chartwell Wescott Retirement Residence

Wescott memory care staff have been caring and supportive to my partner and myself since his move last fall. They have taken the time to get to know him and are willing to make his care as individual as time permits. Always a smile on all the staff faces. You have made a difficult time much easier .

My mother has been a resident of Chartwell Wescott for a year. Although she initially didn’t wish to move from her own home she quickly found she enjoyed the support from the helpful and kind staff and all the amenities. I have peace of mind knowing she is so happy and well cared for. Chartwell Wescott is a lovely residence with so much to offer. My only regret is that she didn’t move here earlier.

As a vendor that has worked with Chartwell over many years. They are excellent to work with, pay invoices on time and are quick and clear with their communication!

Yesterday we celebrated my mother’s birthday in the Country Kitchen at Chartwell Wescott. It was a happy time for her, her family and her friends.It is so nice to have a place in the residence where this kind of event can happen. So that her friends and acquaintances can be part of it because it’s right there. And her friends are a very important part of her life.And I didn’t have to find a place to accommodate 35 + people. It was right there waiting for us.Many thanks to the staff (co-ordinated by Jessica) who made it easy to bring us all together by providing coffee, tea, juices and ice water, plates and utensils, and a warm and welcoming environment.Wescott is a family oriented place. As a family we are very happy that our mother, grandmother, great grandmother is very happy there.

Chartwell Wescott is a wonderful spot if you’re looking for a comfortable place to live while keeping active. The management have everything covered from housekeeping to entertainment and a first class dining experience as well.

Wescott reviewI’ve been here since June 2020 and absolutely love this place. I had my own construction company that built a lot of commercial buildings like this not realizing that one day I would be living in one. When I show friends pictures of the place, they comment on how beautiful it is. The staff here are so nice and friendly. I’m always amazed at how well they are able to handle all the different needs that are happening daily. Another reason to smile is the great food we get. I enjoy the meals we get here each day as you can really see the hard work that the kitchen staff puts into not only the taste, but the great presentation. There’s always a bunch of different activities that they have planned for us each day and put a huge emphasis on the quality of life here. One thing I think is really important is the way they have set up for interaction between residents. There’s lots of different board games, pool table, outdoor activities, etc that Wescott provides its residents to socialize with each other. I know one thing for sure is this is exactly the kind of place I would recommend for anyone moving to check it out. There’s a family feel here which has been a big part of how this place operates. We all live together and have genuine concern for each and everyone that lives here. I have a recumbent bike and was out riding longer than normal and when I got back there were people who were super concerned and was glad nothing was wrong. This is one example of how much people here care for others. Great accommodations, staff, food,social interaction and much more has made this place special for me.

I work at Wescott. Having worked in other retirement residences, I can share that Wescott is a wonderful place. The staff is friendly, helpful and always mindful of the residents needs. The facility itself is beautiful inside and out. The theatre room is outstanding, as is the exercise the room and the swimming pool is over the top. A great place for residents to spend time with their grandkids. Another plus to the facility is complementary transportation via a bus for outings and a chauffeur service for appointments. I would highly recommend Wescott as a place to investigate if you are thinking of moving to an independent living facility.

I am very proud to be a part of such an amazing organization! I absolutely love working at Chartwell Wescott. I look forward to going to work every day, and truly making a difference. We have such great residents and a fantastic team, everyone is extremely family oriented. It’s as if you work with your second family. I would strongly recommend working at Chartwell to anyone. Chartwell truly cares about their employees by helping them grow and supporting them. I can speak from experience for that.

I started working at Chartwell Wescott Retirement Residence earlier this year. Our General Manager, Laurenn is an exceptional leader. She inspires all the staff to want to do better and always acknowledges our accomplishments. She truly cares about the residents and goes out of her way to make sure they are happy. I am proud to be part of the team!
