Amazing experience! The friendliest staff, Paulina and was great and side bar, and they have great products for sale too! I picked up a great travel size natural deodorant. Definitely a repeat customer from here on out.

Coming from India, I was so particular about waxing and the aesthetician. I was so cautious while booking for Brazilian waxing service and that’s when I came across The Smooth Wax Bar (Liberty Village) and I’d read do many reviews about ‘Ashley’. Trust me it’s the most painless Brazilian wax ever- I was stunned at her speed, calmness and skill. If you need to get your Brazilian waxing done- go now. This is the best waxing experience I've had in my 25+ years of waxing. Not only were they lovely humans, I had a Brazilian and three days later I've had no discomfort, which has never happened before! Plus, I was offered a lesser fee because I have very little hair to deal with - which again, has NEVER been offered to me before anywhere else. I am a convert!!! Thank you Ashley!!! See you again!

I usually go to my regular waxing place, but couldn't get an appointment last minute so I booked here. The overall cleanliness could be better. The floor in the room had wax splotches all over it. At my regular place the floor is very clean. The carpet on the way to the bathroom needed vacuuming badly.The worst part for me was that when I paid after my service, the receptionist informed me that because my waxer was still training, I would get a 10% discount. This information should be provided BEFORE the appointment. I should have the option of whether or not my waxer is training or not.The bikini wax itself was just OK. I had some bruising and there were patches of missed hair.

Perfect, from the first phone call to the checkout. Ashley made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. Highly recommend. Will return for sure.

My review is a bit late but I think it still holds true:I won't be returning. I decided to go here based on their website of being clean and professional...boy, was that misleading...Firstly, is it not strange that you have to sign a liability form releasing the employees and company if they do anything to harm you during the service..what about if they are negligent?...never have I ever heard of that before at any wax place! so I already went in feeling nervous.The room was not very clean (saw dust and hair all over the floor and surfaces), wax person socialized with me as if they read off a script, and she went way too fast for comfort (I understand turnover but come one now...)Pay a bit more and go somewhere good in the core of Toronto - I wanted to save a bit of $ so I went here - trust me, there are better places.P.s. the wax does not feel any less painful than normal wax, nothing special about it, especially when they're ripping it off fast. If you want something more natural, go for sugaring, its less painful and more natural.
