Kim Nail Salon Cobourg

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I’ve had multiple bad experiences now. Once they used the dremel but shaved off so much of my nails that they were purple and brittle and took months to get better. I tried again and they were so rough, used the dremel on my cuticles so now they are broken, red, and painful. I showed a picture of what I wanted and he straight out said he can’t do that even though it was a simple design. Showed me a picture of some ombre nails because that’s what he wanted but it was no where near my picture. I explained how to do what it was in the picture and he argued with me then did what he wanted on my nails. So they turned out nothing like the picture and they are done poorly. There’s smudges, crooked lines and uneven edges. I was so upset when I left, they charge $60 for something I didn’t want done poorly. It’s less money to go to someone who would have done a good job. I’m sorry I don’t recommend.

Booked ahead an appointment for 2 ppl but when we showed up they didn't have record of appointment and we both had to go separately one waiting over an hour then the next. Not fun I booked for myself and a gf for a treat. Now we are given the bill 180 which is 90 each for mani pedi and shellac we were overcharged is should've been 80 each then to boot the lady has the nerve to ask how much tip you going to give me I'll add it to the bill. Lmao um ok not fun bad service and too dishonest with prices.

Got acrylic nails and 8 nails broke within 2 weeks. Even when I went back to get fixed it was a proper fix and now one nail has broken off past the nail bed and bleeding a ton.

Terrible service and really unprofessional people! Scarred my fingers and I bled and they ignore you completely and I could do a better job at home ! What a waste of time and a painful experience

i asked for french tip where the tip is black and instead proceeded to tell me he couldn’t do that cause my nails were to short. as i showed him a photo of the exact nails that were short as well. paints my whole nail black and does the french tip white. so you could do it? but did it all opposite EVEN when i said something. not too happy with what i paid for and then end result. and second… how rough you guys are with my hands and nails. i come back to my fingers is tons of pain cause how rough. not a very good experience all times i have went to your nail place

Called Kim as, I just had my nails done elsewhere and was unhappy with the work. Explained my predicament and Kim was so kind as to take me in right away!Kim did an amazing job! My nails are perfect and beautiful! She exceeded my expectations! Her attention to detail and quality of work is fantastic.All staff are friendly and treat you like family even if they just met you!I will definitely return !

My Daughter's got their nails done just the other day, they turned out good at first glance. Once we left there my oldests fingers were bleeding,cut and on fire. Lumpy job also.They weren't overly friendly besides the front desk lady. I think giving 3 stars was a little generous on my behalf. They hurt so bad she used numbing polysporin on them with gauze. They were sliced beside the nails on a few fingers from the nail files/tools used. Will never go there again.(the light pink nails have that shiny glow because the polysporin used as soon as we got home) the purple nails are my youngest. She has a sore also but wasn't in bad pain like my oldest was.

I had my nails done by Kim, fabulous job as always. Love this nail spa, always get my pedicures and nails done here, very professional and friendly. Highly recommend this nail salon!Thank youBrenda-lee
