My sister took me for high tea for my birthday. It was both our first time at Deane's as well as the high tea experience. The atmosphere is cozy. Not extravagant or super fancy. Just a building with a history. The washrooms are located upstairs. I'm glad the waitress kept coming by to make sure our hot water was refilled very often for the tea. However, I think high tea in general are way too overpriced for the amount of food you get. I don't think I'll ever try high tea again.

Excellent food and ambience for a relaxing meal. The chocolate whiskey cake was a highlight, as was the attentive service. My spouse had the lamb entree and it was exceptional. As you can see the food presentation was very appropriate and tasteful. Shown in picture is my chicken entree.

We came in last night as a group, for a celebration. I was incredibly impressed by how professional, and kind the staff was. They were all extremely accommodating! The food was amazing. I’ve never had oyster mushrooms before, and they were delicious. The ambiance was incredible. We were upstairs in the library, and I felt like we were transported back in time. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Tonight was my second time dining here and Deane House impressed us once again. Exceptional service and the seasonal menu make this a great place to revisit. The sablefish and the East coast oysters are my favourite (might even hold my current title of best oysters in Calgary).Definitely a hidden gem in the city and a place worth visiting for some delicious food and cocktails. Would love to come back for high tea.

Excellent brunch offerings in a rustic spot on the edge of Inglewood. Highly recommend any of the Eggs Benedict which come with fresh greens and a potato rosti (I had it with the house made ham which was delicious). The space is beautiful and spacious and the staff are welcoming. Give them a visit if you haven’t already!

Based on the fact that they cancelled my birthday dinner after OpenTable let me book and they called me once but no text/email etc.. nor did they try and called me again .. so I didn’t find out until I checked the app… 3 hours before my anticipated dinner. I get things happen with scheduling but it would’ve been appreciated to make more of an effort to get in contact. Location is beautiful and the food is excellent. Had asked for a followup call to provide feedback and never heard anything. Great place overall just a shame sometimes the communication isn’t great.

Food, overall, was quite good except for the French toast which was too sweet. I loved their take on the shrimp omelette and who knew gluten free Saskatoon berry muffins could be so tasty? They are busy during brunch so service was very slow. Don't come if you're in a hurry!

Deane House is incredible! Went for brunch for the second time there and was blown away. The food is amazing, service is great and the garden is beautiful! Highly recommend
