Over 3 years ago I approached coach Franz for a series of lessons. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. As a beginner golfer it can be quite intimidating beginning your golf journey. After my first lesson it became clear to me that Franz's knowledge of the game runs deep, and within a week I began to really understand the fundamentals of the golf swing and grew increasingly more confident. I’ve just started to take some lessons from Coach Franz, though we had met several years ago through a simulator league he was running. I’ve had a number of coaches over the years, and I was looking for someone who could help me with my game that takes a more systematic, rigorous approach than is typical in the golf instruction industry. I am very happy with my lessons so far: careful, customized assessment and training, complete with a written follow-up, statistics from the launch monitor, and video of me making progress. Given I’m a “numbers guy”, I appreciate the attention to the data gathered and his expertise in its interpretation. Coach Franz is a strong communicator, highly competent, friendly and passionate about his work…perfect combination of traits for a great golf coach!Looking forward to more sessions to get my game back in shape!

I had a group of lessons the past summer with coach Franz and I would highly recommend him as a teacher. My journey with Coach Franz at Golf and Performance started recently as I suffer from inconsistency with my irons and wanted to improve on this part of my game. He asked me what my goals were and what are my common misses, shot shape, brand, model and shaft in my irons. Two videos were submitted and his analysis was detailed but, easy to understand. A couple drills have been recommended by by Coach Franz with video demonstrations. I anticipate a solid relationship and getting my scores consistently below 80.

Coach Franz is not only an incredible coach, but an amazing person. I came to him as a multi sport athlete, and he taught me the importance of breaking down movements and moving with intent. We have built a good connection and he became a huge mentor to me. I would recommend Coach Franz to anyone, whether they are a competitive golfer or looking to sharpen up their recreational game.
