Old but high quality building — things rarely broke and never a day the elevators were out of service. Concierge people were the most caring compared to all the other buildings I lived.

I have been living here coming up on a year this June. Since I have moved in, there has been non stop construction/renovations with noise all hours of the day. The building manager/management staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. They do not follow protocols, I have had my unit entered without notice while I was in the shower giving me a heart attack and has also been entered without proper 24hrs notice. I am recently dealing with the fact that fan cleaning was done earlier in the year only to have a professional come investigate and find that not only has it not been cleaned but it is now a health and fire hazard from extreme build up. So if they are not doing the work scheduled, what are they doing in people’s units? I highly recommend having cameras in your unit to ensure this doesn’t happen or you can take action against it. I have also seen the maintenance staff enter units without security accompaniment and not leaving a notice of entry when no one is home. There’s apparently no building guest parking, only paid parking with no over night. It’s the building staff that makes people not want to live here. Really unfortunate as I had high hopes when I moved in.

Great location for apartment. But I have always had a terrible experience with some of the people at the concierge especially Ash. He is one of the most judgemental person Ive ever met and always feel like hes talking down to me when we have an conversation.

I cant believe how unbelievable rude the concierge is. Particularly Ash, he acts like hes so much better than anyone and every interaction I had with him has been unpleasant.

Quiet, old building to live in. Security on site around the clock.

The 1980's building style is dated by this time, however the construction quality is relatively solid, of better quality than many of the kleenex box style condos currently being rapidly erected in the downtown core. The current Polo II building management is competent, pleasant and does a good job of proactively dealing with maintenance issues. The concierges, including Mr. Ash Legesse, are very polite and treat building residents very well. The concierges do not have an enviable job, as all kinds of people show up all day long, with all kinds of issues and unreasonable demands.

WORST CONCIERGE IN TORONTO 5 YEARS IN A ROW: MR. MASSOOD KHAN. Terrible attitude towards almost all people. This dog of a person needs to be fired or go to school/training to learn how to interact with other humans before he is let out!!! It is unfair that residents and their guests have to deal with human with such bad attitude.

Just moved from 44 St Joseph after two years. The building was great but the concierge made all the difference. Ash is the kindest man to walk the planet. If you don’t like Ash, you’re probably a jerk. Thank you Ash and friends for a wonderful two years, I will miss you.

Nice building. The staff is friendly. The concierges at the front desk are polite and helpful.
