The Brownstone

The Brownstone was the absolute perfect place for our wedding and we couldn't recommend it more!The team is so wonderful. They are easy to work with, professional and so kind. They were so on top of everything and were quick to respond to all of our questions. The venue is stunning and it was so easy for us with their decor package that provided so much value and saved us having to rent a ton of decor. We LOVED that we could hang greenery from the ceiling and with the space being so modern and simple it provided the exact vibe we were wanting.Everything went perfectly on our wedding day. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the space was and the team that was working our wedding was so much fun and all of guests raved about them. We held our ceremony at 3pm and then had guests leave for 2 hours to flip the room. We love having everyone arrive again to see the space fully set up beautifully!The venue was a short 3 block walk to where we had a hotel block of rooms. All of our guest loved the convenience of being downtown and staying downtown. We highly recommend The Brownstone!

We attended office Christmas party of True North Mortgage. The venue was easily accessible with tons of parking across the street. Everything about the venue was great. It was spacious with lots of room to mingle, without running into people. It was clean and well maintained. The lighting was great too, not too bright and not too dim either. The staff were courteous as well. Overall, two thumbs up.

Easily the best venue in all of Calgary for a wedding over 100 guests. We got married on May 27/23 and it was the best day ever! It was the first venue we looked at and basically said take our money, there was no need to see any other venues. The light and airy look with the white brick walls is so stunning, and not to mention how great the bar is. Bretton was my coordinator for the venue and there are no words to describe how easy and fun she made the whole process! She was always in touch to ensure all details (and stress) were dealt with. On the day of the wedding, she ensured that the bridal party, and all our family/friends were taken care of. Chris was in charge of the bar/bartending, and everyone commented on how great the bartending was all night. Weeks later, I still had family/friends talk about how perfect the venue was and how nice they were treated by everyone working that day. Anything that we left at the venue the night of the wedding, was kept safe for us until pick up the following day. We truly had the best experience ever and are so happy we chose the Brownstone for our wedding venue!!!

Visited for a Christmas party, the interiors were stunning, the bar tenders incredibly attentive and friendly but the food was a huge let down, but as feedback below from the establishment shows that wasn't a fault on their end... maybe take their recommendations for catering.

Incredible venue. I've been at this party planning for 7 years with many restaurants and venues booked. Chris and his team are by far the most professional I've seen. Great with communication, using either phone, text and great systems via email made the booking so smooth and seamless. I'm fairly picky with design and decor and the Brownstone is simply gorgeous. Nothing ostentatious, nothing tacky. It is very timeless and dare I say sexy! I'm so happy I made the decision to book The Brownstone!

To say our wedding day at the Brownstone was perfect is an understatement. Our guests absolutely raved about the beautiful space and the outstanding service all night.From the initial meeting at Venue 308 to finally being able to have our wedding at the Brownstone two years later, Penny, Bretton, Chris and the entire team have been nothing short of incredible - through weaving through changing restrictions and postponements to creating the most beautiful space for our wedding. From the first meeting I knew that we wouldn't be able to have our wedding anywhere else but what I didn't know was just how much our expectations would be exceeded.

We had our work Christmas party here and it was AMAZING! It looked high class and stylish. The atmosphere was great overall. I highly recommended booking this venue for your next get-together whether its a wedding reception, work party, or any venue :)

Absolutely stellar venue with wonderful staff. They make throwing an event very stress free. I would recommend this space for any kind of event as it is fresh and a clean palate to do what you want!
