Tannery Hill Beacon
From here, on a clear day, you can see the Toronto skyline and all the way to Hamilton, and the annular solar eclipse on June 10, 2021 was very visible. In fact, if you look at this monument from the sky, you can see that it is standing surrounded by a heart-shaped walkway. I recommend using a drone to take pictures of it.

A serene place . Right by the water and lots of clean spaces to sit and enjoy the Lakeview. On a clear day you can see the Toronto skyline. Enough parking close by. Not too over crowded either. And lots of beautiful history to appreciate as you walk by the water.

It's a great place to sit and enjoy the view of Lake Ontario and Toronto Skyline; if a sunny and clear weather when there is no haze. It's a very peaceful and quiet when it’s not busy.The monument is very nice and the signs are very informative, you learn both about the history and geometry of the monument.

Beautiful view of Oakville maria, harbour and Lake Ontario.The Tannery Hill Beacon stands tall, and can guide light and direction for visitors.Surrounded by a peaceful community park, accessed via public pathways, a wonerdeful spot for learning about local history, soaking in the sun or enjoying the outdoors.
