Scenicview Child Care

I am a mom, like many, that researches so much about daycares and the programs they have before enrolling my child. When I found Scenicview, I was a bit skeptical because everything seemed too good to be true! They have an in house chef that prepares amazing and worldly foods, a beautiful outdoor area close to the escarpment trails where the children go for walks, and a massive indoor gym (just to name a few). Scenicview went above and beyond all my expectations . My daughter absolutely thrives at Scenicview. She has almost been there for 2 years, beginning at 14 months. I was so nervous to leave her after maternity leave, but the constant communication from the ECE educators through an app gives me a sense of contentment. I rely on that communication to know that my daughter is happy and secure. Scenicview provides a warm, inviting environment for the children. Now that my daughter is in preschool, the ECE educators have AMAZING activities that keep her engaged. She is way above her age level expectations and I truly believe that is because she has been in an inspiring learning environment since I enrolled her a 14 months. She is just a couple months shy of turning 3 and loves going to preschool each day. If you are looking for a daycare that isn't run like a business but is ran with your child in mind, I encourage you to take a tour and experience it for yourself. The best thing I ever did for my daughter and my piece of mind was enroll her in Scenicview and I am so thankful to have found Cindy and her amazing team. Children tell you exactly how it is and my daughter just raves about her teachers. It is hard to not sound over the top while writing this review but us parents know that when your child is happy, you are happy so I would want this experience for every child :)

We love Scenicview. My daughter loves going to daycare every day and is excited to see her teachers, friends, learn and play. Everything about this place is fantastic especially the staff, each and everyone of them take so much pride and care in the work they do with the kiddos. The food is amazing, the learning and activities they do has made my daughter blossom. This daycare hands down is the best of the best in my opinion.

Our son has been enrolled at Scenicview since he was 12 months old and he is now just over 3 and in the Preschool class. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this place.For starters, it is beautiful. The building has the feeling of a home, but with the structure and longer hours of a centre, however there are much fewer children than the other centre we visited. The yard is large with all kinds of trees and green space, as well as a vegetable garden that the children help tend to. In the summer time, they get to EAT the vegetables they grow in the delicious food that is made on site, which I think is a wonderful lesson in cultivating nature and eating fresh local produce. They play outside every day when the weather is nice, sometimes have picnics outdoors for their meals and even take the children for walks on the Chedoke trail which is right next to the centre. Our son loves telling us about everything he sees on their nature walks" such as "waterfalls

We have had our child at Scenicview for a year and a half. Over that time, we have deeply appreciated the professional and responsible care they provided. Not only are our child's physical and developmental needs met, Scenicview's management and staff became trusted partners with us as parents as our child grew. Communication back and forth was always prompt and accurate using the HiMama app, and there were rarely, if ever, cases where we thought anything was missed or overlooked. Our child loves the staff at Scenicview and all of the fun, educational activities that were done on a daily basis. I can't recommend Scenicview any higher. The slightly higher price compared to other options is well, well worth the dramatically higher quality care we received as a family. Get on the wait list!

Our son attended from 18mos- 4 years. Every day we felt comfortable leaving him in the care of the loving and competent staff.The escarpment location is beautiful, the doors are secure and the centre is clean, fresh and promotes growth and learning.The food was always freshly cooked and served in an age appropriate manner, our picky eater ate foods I could never possibly get him to eat at home.The Hi Mama app kept us on the loop of things and it was reassuring to receive updates throughout the day.During his time at Scenic View, Cindy organized many events for the parents and children to attend. We enjoyed several Christmas concerts, a celebration for every child’s birthday, a lovely preschool graduation ceremony and a last day celebration for the children.When we were visiting daycares to decide where we should enrol our son, Scenic View stood out from the rest. The beautiful gym with large windows, the cleanliness of the centre, the trees and outdoor environment and the overall aesthetic of the centre was unmatched by any other centre we visited.

Both of my daughters attended Scenicview and it is a truly incredible place. They treat the kids like they are their own and both my kids had amazing experiences there. From the healthy delicious food to all the activities, I would highly recommend it to parents looking for child care. The Hi Mama app is a great way to keep tabs on your kids while you are at work, seeing multiples photos of my daughter a day makes being apart from her slightly less difficult. If I could give it 6 stars I would!!

Our daughter Izzy has been with them for 11 months now. The meals they’re fed daily are incredible. The staff are so friendly and great with the kids. Our 3 year old’s language skills have developed so much in their care. We haven’t had any issues at all. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a preschool! This place is second to none. We’ll miss ScenicView when our daughter starts elementary school in September.

Great facility, with such kind and caring staff. We’ve watched our child flourish, make friends and learn so much. We also appreciate the daily updates/photos of all the fun they are having and the delicious meals they are eating! We are so happy with our choice to send our child here.

Our son attended this centre full time from the age of 15 months until he started school this September.Choosing the right place to send your child is a very hard decision to make. We have never felt so comfortable and happy with our decision to leave our son in the nurturing and competent care of the staff at Scenicview.With a child with food allergies the staff went above and beyond to not only accommodate but celebrate his differences to make him feel included and most importantly safe. To leave for work and not worry about your child’s safety is a great gift to any parent.The facilities and grounds are top notch and the staff keep them clean and in great working conditions. They are constantly bringing in new toys and learning resources. The trail system and the outdoor space is one of a kind. Real grass and real trees make happy children.The staff are over the top amazing. The owner Cindy treats each child like her own. She is fairly hands off but is always there to answer questions and offer support. Her talented lead staff Jaimie does an excellent job at communicating new changes, including new staff. High turn over is a reality on this field but Scenicview quickly finds new and incredible staff to fill the voids. The teachers are exceptional! We cannot stress enough how pleased we were with Miss Chelsea, Miss Sherrett and Miss Gabby. They went above and beyond for our child and taught him so many basic skills that he will carry forward for the rest of his life.We are grateful to have our son in such a warm and comfortable space where he grew and flourished. Thank you!
