Broadview House B&B

Very short drive to “downtown” Twillingate. Definitely enjoyed our 2 nights with Ruth and Randy. Very clean and beautiful room with a great view from the deck. Ruth made a delicious sit down breakfast each morning. We would definitely go back.

A great place to stay. A very short drive to the town of Twillingate but far better views. In fact the views are breath taking. Step out the door and you are right on one of the many hiking trails. Ruth serves a fabulous breakfast and is very accommodating in many ways with a little snack to go if you happen to not finish the bountiful breakfast.

My mom and I stayed for 4 nights at the Broadview House and had a fantastic stay. The bedrooms and common areas are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The view from the rooms is spectacular and the breakfast we had were delicious. The short drive to Twillingate is along the coast with wonderful scenery. And the hosts are welcoming and helpful.

The views!!! We stayed for 1 night en route to Fogo Island and are so happy we did. The B&B is perfectly situated in Twillingate, near the hiking paths and the Lighthouse, with easy access to the town and to the ferry. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the views stunning. Ruth was a fantastic host and our breakfast was ridiculously delicious and filling. Would absolutely stay here again!

Wow! That's the best way to describe this place. The hosts are lovely and hospitable, and the breakfasts that Ruth makes are amazing! The B&B itself is very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The view of the ocean is amazing from your room, the deck and the sunroom. Would encourage anyone to stay here!

What gorgeous accommodations! Not only were the bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms spacious and luxurious, we were also provided with a common guest area, including a thoughtfully-equipped kitchen area and super-comfy sofa. Breakfasts were outstanding and generous. Especially appreciated were the gluten-free breakfasts provided for my husband, who is gluten-intolerant. Another nice touch was the bagged breakfast that Ruth provided us for a day when we were out extremely early to catch the Fogo Island ferry.

This was a perfect place to stay while visiting beautiful Twillingate. The views are phenomenal! The home-cooked breakfast was delicious, and Ruth was kind enough to send us on our way with muffins when we couldn't stay for breakfast on our second day.

Twillingate area is a must-see and what better place to stay than at Broadview House B&B. The location is perfect, handy to the town of Twillingate as well as the surrounding area. There are lots of interesting shops, walks and places to go nearby. The views from the B&B are stunning, with whales frequenting the bay below. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and just off a porch overlooking the bay. They also have a stunning sunroom overlooking the bay. However, it was the warm hospitality of the hosts, Ruth and Randy, that really made our stay special. We had access to a fridge and coffee and tea were always available. We followed Ruth's suggestions for walking to the lighthouse and around the point back to the B&B and were rewarded with 7 whale sightings. We also followed her recommendation for lobster supper and were rewarded with a delicious feast. We loved every minute of our stay. We hope to return, and stay longer!

Ruth was such an amazing host for us while we were staying at her B&B just outside Twilingate. Her breakfasts were spectacular – she even had ice stocked in her freezer that came from an iceberg – very cool and unique touch! One thing that we really appreciated were the views just outside our bedroom of the coastline. One morning we woke up to see an iceberg just off in the distance. When we arrived, Ruth provided us with a hiking trails map and we were able to find time on our last day to hike around the upper coast line around where her B&B is – I can say the views were amazing and we even came across a root cellar on this hike! We loved having the proximity to Twilingate but with incredible coastline views that the B&B was able to provide.
