GERRISH & GRAY CAFE
Atmosphere, food quality & delivery of our Saturday brunch was excellent Celiac creates difficulty when considering eating out. Our hostess/server reassured that my choice from menu was 100% GF. Coffee was very good and vegan eggs Benedict was not only presented well it tasted as good as it looked. Fresh greens without nasty brown leaves & fresh, delicious fruit. Most other restaurants see no issue in serving wilted greens & sub par fruit that is not the case at Gerrish and Gray. Definitely worth the drive to Windsor.

This is my new favorite cafe to visit when I feel like leaving town to get a change of scenery (if I lived in Windsor, I'd go all the time). The staff are very friendly and the place has a great atmosphere. Also - on Fridays and Saturdays (at the time of writing this review) it turns into a restaurant with table service in the evening! My friends and I both had the chicken dinner gnocchi and had to go back a second time just in case the menu changes because it was so good. If you like good food and good coffee, you need to go here!

Wow, with a capital ‘W’. What a fantastic brunch at Gerrish & Grey Cafe. This newer restaurant is an upscale and modern cafe, that the Valley is so lucky to have.We came for one of many meals that we’ve eaten here, but today was a highlight. While chatting over drinks in great ambiance and atmosphere, our server informed us that our meal order, by error, hadn’t been submitted to the kitchen. We were immediately told that our food was comped, no questions asked. It’s so rare to find a restaurant these days which is dedicated to retaining customers, even at a cost to themselves.Bottom line, the food is high class, incredibly tasty, and the staff are wonderful. I challenge you to find better, anywhere.

Very nice atmosphere. Freindly servers. Could definitely update their menu to add some vegan or plant based options, and become a go-to for local and visiting vegans.PS There are a lot of us

Food took forever even though there were only a few tables, eggs Benny were overcooked as well as the home fries. Bills aren't printed out so they gave me a total that was 10$ more than what I ordered. Staff was friendly and atmosphere is lovely, but food wasn't worth it.

This is just what Windsor needed! Offering deliciously simple food options and hot drinks as well as local crafted wines, ciders, etc., The space is welcoming and cozy and is already becoming a favourite meeting and eating spot in just its first few weeks in operation.Update: After a day in the Valley and on our way back to the city we decided to pop in to check out their evening supper specials when the cafe switches to a restaurant. We are SO HAPPY we did! We both had the Chicken Dinner Gnocchi with green beans and croissant croutons and it was heavenly! We also ordered the dessert special to share which was equally amazing - a hazelnut-y, chocolate-y masterpiece. I ordered the Wings & Pickles to go for my partner who was at home and he loved it too (tossed in a hot Valentina sauce and the homemade dill pickles were brined with peppers too, I suspect). Definitely add Gerrish & Gray to your must-dine list in Nova Scotia!

We have been in for lunch, as well as brunch/coffee many times, and have always had a great experience. Gluten-free options (I am celiac and had no issues) including their side potato salad which was to die for. Great, relaxing environment, delicious coffee, and the staff are always extremely kind and accommodating.

Have had coffee and biscuits here before but today had the French toast and bacon with fruit. The freshest fruit ever. Only Pete’s in Halifax had it that fresh. The French toast was something I have never tasted like before. Absolutely perfect from owners to staff. I certainly will be coming again.New day 25 June and had brunch. Always tastes great and fruit always fresh. Made to feel right at home.
