Brander's Pool Service Inc

We needed to replace the skimmer on our 40yr old in-ground pool and 8yr old vinyl liner. I took pictures and a video to show local stores. Pioneer wouldn't touch it because they were worried that they would have issues with the old-ish liner. Total Tech wanted $2500 BUT Branders said they could do it for $1800 or $1200 if I dug out the old skimmer myself. They did a great job and were true to their $1200 price.

We have been working with them for the past couple of years after disappointing services from other pool companies. They are always helpful, Knowledgeable and have a smile on their face. They go above and beyond to accommodate service calls with timely manner! They did an amazing job coordinating timing with our contractors who were doing interlocking. Their prices are reasonable and they are all super polite and professional! Highly recommend them!

Absolutely awful “opening” this year. Came beginning of June, the workers essentially took the cover off, dumped in chemicals and left without checking to make sure equipment was working. I had contacted Raj last season to let them know the brand new heater they had installed was not working and I wanted it fixed under warranty prior to closing. My emails went ignored and they closed the pool. At opening I reminded (re-forwarded) my initial email and it went ignored. Weeks passed with no one showing up and I had to physically go into the store. In store I was met with Raj, the rudest arrogant man I have ever encountered in a customer service setting. He should not be dealing with customers, arguing in the showroom with me that his crew fixed everything. If everything was fixed sir, I wouldn’t be standing in front of you complaining that I was not 100% satisfied. Pool season is short to begin with, I would rather be enjoying the pool! They have also charged my Visa for a service call to fix the warranty issue…that still isn’t fixed!!! Such a nightmare! Stay clear, I don’t doubt the other 1 star reviews are warranted.

We recently hired Branders for a complete makeover of our backyard including the pool, liner, interlock, water features and gazebo. They truly delivered beyond our expectations. Worth every penny! Raj and his team are very professional and provided great service. Highly recommend.

Branders does not stand behind their product. I purchased a hot tub from them about a year and a half ago and I have been having problems with it. They came to take a look at it one time and did not fix it. Now they will not return my calls and they will not come back. BUYER BEWARE.

I had some issues with my existing pump and called Branders and spoke with Raj that same afternoon. Unlike other companies I called he was patient on the phone and took the time to ask about the issue and discuss options before suggesting a replacement. He also scheduled the service the next day and the work was completed impeccably and on time. I had a few questions after installation and again Raj made himself available and troubleshooted and solved my issues. I would highly recommend Branders.

We have just purchased a hot tub from Raj. He has been helpful and attentive and professional throughout the sale, even driving up north to meet the delivery team and be sure everything goes smoothly. His delivery team did an excellent job moving and setting up the tub and were very polite and friendly. The hot tub itself is beautiful and priced very competitively. I can't wait to fill it with water and enjoy it! :)

I closed my pool a month ago and someone from Branders came again (a month later) without my permission and reinstalled clean filters that I did not request. I’m now left with a charge of over $200 on my cc for something I didn’t want. The service guys never give an update of work done. Even if you’re on the premises, they leave without a word said. You have no idea what they did and if they have suggestions. This goes for pool opening, closing and maintenance.Pool opening - They left my liner hanging and said that to get it fixed will be another service charge. They’re absolutely ridiculous. Their customer service is non existent. Rather than empathize with the client, they go on the defensive with a lot of unwarranted attitude. Never ever again. Do yourself a favour and stay far away.

We bought a hot tub from Branders in October 2021. One of our speakers stopped working recently. We informed Raj and he drove all the way here (over 2 hours north) himself to replace it under warranty. Service has been above and beyond. We highly recommend Branders pools.

I dealt with Raj for almost 5 years - I have to say you only know how good a business is when you have an issue and not when you are buying products and services!! I did so much over the years from openings/closings/monthly service/pool light/diving board/heater...etc and now a very bad liner I'm stuck withLess than two years ago, I changed my pool liner. Raj at the time gave me an option for two brands and he said both of them are of good quality but he recommended PoolWerx because they are a local company and I thought I was doing good by supporting them! This is not even my second year, and the bottom corners especially and almost all corners are fading and the pattern is disappearing. (my neighbors have liners from 15 years that looks better than mine!!!) It keeps getting worse week by week. I have a perfectly balanced pool and I take care of it very well.What was the worst is that I have asked Raj to come and just inspect it and see what's going on (I was told the liner comes with 5year warranty)...He either gives a time and doesn't show up and says he is busy, or he blames it on the other company and says he is in touch with them. I contacted the company (PoolWerx) directly and they said nobody from branders ever got in touch with them!I realized that I was dealing with a liar all these years! Again its when there's is an issue or warranty related support that shows true colors of a business and not when they have your credit card on file and keep charging you. Call him to replace or buy a new product and he will be the quickest in town. Call him if you have an issue with something he installed and watch the difference in service.By the way I have noticed that many customers are complaining of bad pool closing or improper pool opening and other services...Remember that you can always dispute the charge on your credit card for a service not as advertised. The only way to teach a business a lesson is Credit Card chargebacks... Do it and watch how they will run after you and redo the work correctly!Now I am with Mirage Pool and they truly care see their ratings and you'll know you are in the wrong place if you are dealing with Raj... Or see Pioneer Pool rating and you'll know businesses don't get big by selling but by customer service which Raj doesn't have!!
