I am 50 years old with type 2 diabetes and numerous other medical conditions.I decided to bundle up and walk to Safeway early this morning for some items and get some excercise at the same time.After grabbing a new tank for my soda stream and another item ,I headed to customer service as everywhere else soda stream tanks are exchanged at customer service.A employee stopped me accusing me of stealing.I said I was going to customer service and he walked away with no apology.At no time was I even near a exit or attempting to leave the store.Items I was buying were visible in my hands.Wearing a touk and a face covering pulled under my chin to expose my face in the middle of winter does not mean someone is automatically stealing.I might of even forgotten about it if the employee apologised.Just disrespectful and rudeDo better

I enjoyed my visit at this location. The store is clean and tidy. The shelves are stocked. The parking lot is clean. There were no abandoned shopping carts in the parking lot. The cashier who served me today was polite and friendly. Thank You!

On New Year's Eve day, (the 31st), I was in a stressful situation in the meat department. I was okay with it, I was quiet and keeping to myself. Now, the meat department manager, unfortunately I forget his name, approached me....and was very helpful and kind. I just wanted to share my positive experience.

Never has anyone at the express checkouts. I don’t wanna have to use a credit card for 3 items, nor do I want to wait behind a person with a massive cart full of groceries to be able to pay cash at the checkout line. I just want to pay cash and go. OPEN THE EXPRESS LINE!!!!

Friendly store staff, excellent service and great parking.This Westwood location has a really good florist shop, pharmacy, in-store bakery and a Starbucks. It has 1st class service - available, friendly and knowledgeable staff who know the store and where to find products as well as speedy checkouts. It has a good selection of meats, a well stocked fruit and veg area and a bakery. There is a deli counter and an area with grab and go entrees. It's a wonderful area anchor. Prices are fair and advertised specials are good!
