The area is nice, but there are signs of funny business in the area. There is profane language scratched and penned onto the railing. Would not recommend for kids.

It starts with a few boards of information, advising it's one of the largest remaining marsh habitats on the Okanagan Lake's shoreline. It's got two sides, one that goes to a platform with some seating and the other that overlooks the beach and up in the lake.It's near the park, has a nice little path and mash area but lost points because it doesn't actually loop around.

Shady, bird Sanctuary boardwalk through a swamp. View of lake with seating on the perimeter of boardwalk. Little beaches for less than a dozen people in two areas beside boardwalk.
