Alterna Savings - Belleville (Formerly Quinte First Credit Union)

I have always had great customer service and customer care. I have only one problem with the online service and that was my own stupidity lol.

since being taken over by quinte first this bank has become HORRIBLEall the good staff are gone , in the place of them are a bunch of rude people who want nothing more then to take your money in any way possible.i used bayshore credit union for 10 years and had an amazing experience every single time , but now i despise even having to go in that place.id give 0 stars if i could. closed my account , and will NEVER ever return to that border line criminal bank.

Quinte first has been one of the best banks I have dealt with, they have helped me out more then I can ever imagine. The staff has been A1. They really do try their best to accommodate your needs and work with you.

Very hard to get a hold of someone over the phone. I called at 12:00 pm on a Monday and I never even received a callback. Customer service needs to improve.

When calling the bank, it is very hard to get a live person on the phone to talk to. Good bank, but need better phone services. Receptionists or bank tellers need to answer the phones for one on one service. Less answering machine use needed, as this is very irritating!

The red headed teller young and a lack of experience in customer relations. Very uncaring that I couldn't deposit a large check through the bank machine, no advice or information on what to do being she coukd not even deposit the check into my husbands account. All this thing could do is stand there with a smile even when I told her I had enough on my plate that my husband was sick my mother was dying & my dog was dying, and when I thanked" her for all her helped walked away she continued staring.....I turned when I got close to the door she was still smiling & staring. She was very rude the first rude person I've come across in Belleville since we moved here over two weeks ago. I was so upset with tears that a person who is supposed to be a professional acted horribly to not just a customer but a person. We will never be back...of course!"

Almost impossible to get someone to answer a phone there or return a message. Service used to be amazing but has gone down hill significantly. Since they’ve switched names it’s even worse. Haven’t been able to e transfer money for a week since the new app was implemented. Can’t get ahold of the receptionist on the phone to even ask about it. I’m switching banks, they won’t have my business after 25 years of being a customer. Disappointed is an understatement.

There mobile banking app always crashes and online keeps going down. I am leaving this bank as last few years has service and quality has steadily declined. Been with this bank almost 2 decades but no more

Great Bank, friendly.Only one issue you need a receptionist that sits by the phone and physically answers it. Hard to actually talk to someone.

Worst service ever, I've all ready switched banks but my husband is unable to get in to do this yet. He is an essential truck driver that has to cross border and they won't even allow him in to do his banking. Receptionist was very rude with him in the beginning of this pandemic yelling at him telling g him he wasn't allowed in. Have been waiting here now for an hour for someone to come out to serve him. Total BS
