Ches's Fish and Chips
If you like a soggy tasteless mess on a paper plate, I'm talking about the Fish and Chips. About the worse fish and chips I have ever tasted.Spent about $50 bucks for this sorry tasting mess. On top of this our order was wrong, side of dressing didn't make it into the bag, and the gravy leaked all over everything else in the bag. Will never go back there again!

Servings appear to have gotten smaller but table service has improved considerably since my last visit. I'm upping my rating to 4 stars because of this. Great hangover food.

Coming from a person that does not enjoy fish all that much, they make great fish here and the establishment creates a sense of locality, making the workers seem as though you've known them for quite some time. This place is pretty darn clean and is rarely crowded so normally you don't have to worry about a line up. Would recommend this place to most everyone including people that don't enjoy fish.

No time for the customer. Asked for seasoning salt on the onion rings and some on the side. Employee made a big deal about it, and never got either. Our fish was greasy. Fries were good and the wings were good. But we had to pay extra for the choice batter.

As always the food was hot, fresh, and delicious! Given we are in times of Covid-19, the restaurant was very clean, directional arrows were clearly marked, signage and guidelines were posted clearly. It felt like a safe space.

Odd experience the other day. Placed an order for chicken dinner and was told we have no chicken". I understand it was 90 minutes from closing but no chicken? I cannot fathom a response like this. This has never happened to me in my years of frequenting this place! I was also advised it would take at least 20 minutes to "prepare" some. So unexpected."

The fries, onions and gravy were delicious but the batter on the meats were disgusting. It had absolutely no taste and very bland.It was sad because I used to enjoy it.

The food came out fast but was bland and tasteless. 1 piece fish and chips was $15, and the portions were small.My friends chicken was overcooked and dry.It was a disappointing visit.
