Changed from a 5 star to 2 star. Hear me out. The owner is very humiliating and in fact rude. I understand his standards for keeping his courts clean but we tested our shoes before entering the court and he already collected our money. After playing for an hour, he decided to come pointing fingers and humiliating us in front of everyone. This was in fact very rude and unprofessional. The court was moist, lighting is definitely bad and too blinding. Place is nearly emptied on weekdays. I recommend if you are new or just learning, STAY AWAY! Badminton shoes and attire is MANDATORY. They will collect your money then interrupt you half way thru your time to humiliate you. Unfortunately, we will never return after today’s experience. If you enjoy being judged and laughed at, this is your place. Can’t stress about how bad the staffs’ professionalism and manners are.

Came to check in and advised it was our first time at the court. Staff made small talk asking which court we usually go to and proceeded with trash talking other courts in Richmond. I find the staff's attitude was rude and obnoxious. We came here to have fun and not get compared or judged by which court we go to. He was monitoring the floors every so often with the mop and checking on people's shoes. I felt interrogated the entire time. Was a bad experience. Will not go again.

First time visiting friends recommended this place. They test your shoes before allowing you in the court area to prevent any markings on the courts. We did not have badminton shoes but they tested all our shoes and allowed us in. After playing for a short period of time one of the worker that tested our shoes came to us and tested our shoes again as he saw some markings on the court that was previously there. He started yelling at us saying our soles were black and are not allowed to play. Humiliating our entire group in front of everyone and screaming at our face saying DO YOU KNOW HOW EXPENSIVE THESE FLOORS ARE" was a very unpleasant experience. Considering the fact that he tested our shoes and allowed us in and then came and caused a scene in front of everyone. Very unprofessional... after retesting the shoes until our soles started losing color (still no marking) he allowed us continue playing. As we were leaving the worker said "looks like the guys aren't too happy " and started laughing at us. Which was very uncalled for and unprofessional. We will NEVER come back again.TLDR: If you don't have badminton shoes do not come here. They will laugh at your attire and humiliate you even if they test your shoes and say you are ok to play. Rude staff. Maybe some proper training for your workers with some proper due diligence on testing your customers shoes before allowing your PAYING customers to play."

The place is very damp and moisture is very much apparent and noticeable for table tennis! You will have your table tennis balls drop from your paddle. Hoping this would be fixed in no time. Nonetheless, place is huge, ample amount of ceiling and floor space and very friendly owners.

This is a nice badminton facility in Port Coquitlam. The plywood flooring feels great and easy on the knees. Really high ceiling is perfect for tournaments. The front entrance is at the end of the building after you enter their parking lot.

The courts themselves are nice but the lighting is probably the worst I've ever seen. The light blue walls make it really hard to see the shuttle clearly when defending a smash and due to how big the venue is (3 courts long with plenty of spacing in between), it becomes even harder due to all the lighting that is unfiltered. If you have ever gotten the bad luck to play on Drive's court 10, 11, and 12, it is the same effect but even worse.

The table tennis place is spacious. But if you’re a high level player, It is very hard to play with a moist racket. The rubber picks up moisture a lot due to the poor ventilation. It’s been bad since they opened, I really hope the owner will come up something to fix it. I like playing here, however it is hard to enjoy the game because of the moisture in the racket. Please fix it

The badminton courts are good. Location is a little far but still acceptable. Price is reasonable, but the front desk was a little rude. He told me no receipt will be provided for my small amount of payment, and if I still need it, go to play at other badminton places.

Super nice experience! Super professional!I went to the place with other people’s past ratings in mind, and I was expecting the table tennis place to be compacted with moisture since it is getting somewhat raining recently. However, that wasn’t the case at all. They installed 3 air-dehumidifier that was all on and working and the moisture level was very low. Didn’t have any problems with slippery rubbers or balls, was literally perfect condition to me, better than most venues I’ve been to. There seems to be centralized ventilation system so the air quality was also decent throughout my time there. The flooring is impeccable, really extremely well made and comfortable to play on. It’s really rare to see a venue that holds this level of professionalism. It takes a little time to get used to the lighting in the badminton courts, but it doesn’t feel any different after a little time. Very well lit venue, and good mechanism. The staffs were really easy to talk to! I think perhaps some others had a little misunderstanding when communicating? They are not fluent in English for sure, so some others might have accidentally took an offence due to miscommunication. I personally had a good time at my time there! I was well notified of the conditions to play even before I arrived; to have the proper footwear etc. They sometimes asked if I had the non-marking shoes, and sometimes didn’t; it is also part of the responsibility of consumers to follow their conditions even when they didn’t ask. Alot of the times, the markings wouldn’t show until you play, and I think it is also part of the person’s responsibility to change their shoes when they see it, to prevent further damage. There was also reminders along the ways regarding these standards (no food and easy to spill drinks inside the courts, have proper non-marking footwear that wouldn’t leave any mark in the courts, etc) It’s nice to have a huge and high-level badminton venue! Love for the conditions of the venue to stay at its maximum capacity as long as possible!!*Side note regarding the rubber flooring… They definitely emphasize the importance of having proper footwear in the courts, which I believe is something they’ve done really well. As a player who plays in lots of competitions, the flooring are definitely one of the hardest things to clean, and improper footwear leaves marks that are detrimental to the courts 100%. It’s so hard and rare to find such new rubber flooring and insulation, and some of the courts have definitely been worn out completely by improper shoes. Really hope that each person can try their bests to follow their rules so the others may have the best experiences as well

The place is so nice! Compared to a few others, their rates aren't high. There are lots of courts, the facility are clean and new. Very comfortable during my visit there
