The greatest and most welcoming service ever! Réjean and Pascal were extremely lovely and hosted us as if we were their friends or family. Never felt such hospitality anywhere else in Quebec/Canada! Will definitely go back and stay longer! The pool and Spa areas are dope!! Merci Réjean et pascal❤️

The place was very friendly and inviting from the moment you get there. The owner greeted us and showed us around and explained how to use the sauna and the private spa area with wood and gas fireplaces outside, was really worth it and would recomend the spa experience to anyone who wants a relaxing getaway. Place is super cleqn and disinfected so you feel safe. Would recomend going to skate at la Domaine de La Foret Perdue for a few hours a fun and you can feed the farm animals as well. This is for people looking for something to do outside the hotel expwrience to haveva more fulfilling time while on your vacation getaway. It's a ten minute drive away.

Just a 30min drive to Mauricie National Park and 10min to Shawinigan with restaurants, gas stations and supermarkets. Parking in front of the motel for free. Rooms were very clean and well equipped. Breakfast is included and was good for the price you pay. The best asset of the hotel are the owner and the staff who were very helpful and friendly.The mattress in our room should be changed because it was a little bit worn out but ok for the two nights we stayed.

Very charming hotel. Rooms are renovated, bed is comfortable. Breakfast was good too. Staff was very friendly, the person at reception when we checked in took the time to give us a tour of the hotel. Price is very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great motel. The included breakfast is good for the price you pay. The owner and the staff were lovely and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay on our trip to Mauricie national parc. The only little thing was the mattress in our room which has seen better days. It should be changed and than really everything is perfect.

Great motel if you are sledding. Excellent security. Rooms recently renovated and in excellent condition. Owner is very helpful.

I didn't stay at the property because my flight was canceled. As a frequent traveler, this has happened to me many of times where a canceled flight prevented me from staying at my accommodations. Every single time until now, the property has refunded the full amount of my visit because the cancelation occurred due to factors completely outside of my control. This property is different. The manager was stubborn about giving me any sort of refund ; eventually the property yielded and agreed to give me half of my rate back, and I could get the other half back if I booked with the property at a later date. I can see online now that they are sold out for tonight, so they probably still managed to sell my room, collecting extra revenue on it. I think it's poor form for them to not refund a reservation that needed to be canceled because of a flight cancelation, hence the 1 star review.

My favourite place when I need a room in Shawinigan! Mon Auberge préféré à Shawi! Réjean is welcoming, the place is always super clean and now with covid he takes even more precautions so you feel safe. The new pool and spa are awesome! This inn is a small business… if you support it you are supporting an independent inn keeper.

Owner and staff treated us like he really appreciated us being there. They bent over backwards for is. Everyone in our group said we will be staying here again. Garage for sleds and gated parking lot was a huge plus! Local trail starts directly accross the street. Continental breakfast plus eggs, sausage and potatoes made getting started in the morning easy. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Motel has an interesting Viking decor which adds to the feeling of being on an adventure. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
