Online states they are open on weekends. Drove an hour to get here to find out they are closed. Update your website hours please and thanks.

The website is absolutely broken and won't let me search to see if anything is available and I can't even find rates to see if it's worth phoning them

I reserved a vehicle for pick up in Castlegar, BC on June 12th, 2023. Upon arrival, I was informed by the staff that the owner had given the vehicle I reserved away. They made accommodations for me to pick up the vehicle at their Trail location. Even though this adds an extra 30 minutes either way from the Castlegar to Trail location, I was willing to make the additional drive out there to pick up the vehicle - things happen and I was trying to be accommodating. I picked up my vehicle from the practi-car location in Trail, BC. I planned to return the vehicle on Saturday June 17th, 2023. Prior to reserving the vehicle, I was already aware that I would be over the allotted kilometres and would be paying an additional fee for this. I contacted Practi Car on Friday June 16th, 2023 to confirm if I could drop the vehicle off at the location where I reserved the vehicle, after explaining the entire situation, the staff member rudely told me that I had called the Trail office and that they would not be assisting me with returning the vehicle anywhere other than Trail and that I would receive a hefty charge if I returned the vehicle in Castlegar. I live in Nelson so this is already quite the hassle to drive 2 hours round trip to Trail instead of 1 hour to Castlegar. Additionally, I was already over on kilometres so I was footing the bill for these additional kilometres as well as the extra gas to drive to Trail versus Castlegar. As this was the error of the staff and not my own, I feel this was unfair treatment. The customer service was greatly lacking compassion or understanding. Again, this was the error of practi car at the beginning. I was very accommodating and the staff were unwilling to help me out at all.

I had a car out from Practicar for a month while my truck was in the shop. Had to call to extend multiple times and they were able to help me out. Special thank you to Sydney who was always very friendly and professional.

The staff at the trail location are really nice, and same with the girl at the Castlegar airport kiosk. Rented from them twice, first time a moving truck, second time a SUV.It's a plus that they rent to those under 25, and can take credit cards over the phone provided the credit card holder signs and faxes them a form. I would highly reccomed them.

Our company ALWAYS rents from Trail Practicar. Reliable, affordable transportation, and friendly and helpful staff.I, personally, just purchased one of their fleet retirees. Renting a potential sale vehicle for a couple of days will tell you much more than a drive around the block from a car dealership. A complete maintenance record was supplied and an impressive used vehicle warranty were included in the purchase price.

Used for work trips a couple of times. Staff were nice, vehicle was clean, and everything went smoothly.

The team helped me out when I was stranded in Vancouver. Not one company rents cars from Vancouver to the BC interior one way. Trail Practicar was able to get me home when no one else could. Thank you Rocky and Daryl.

I had a great experience with Practicar in Trail. I was a bit hesitant about renting from them, given that they are the only car-rental option in Trail, but they were friendly and efficient and provided me with a well-running and clean used car at a good price (call to book rather doing it online and ask about the corporate rate). Our flight was quite delayed, but a friendly and helpful representative was at the airport to meet us and we were on our way! Drop-off was super easy too.

Was worried when I couldn't use one of the big chain rentals from the airport but got one of the best maintained and cleanest cars ever from a rental
