A sister restaurant to Signature Palace (Another amazing restaurant), we have yet another great addition to SE Calgary. Carrying over the quality of service and food from Signature Palace, this place has simply great quality Chinese food.The menu consists of a great combination of traditional items as well as items that are catered to more western tastes. But don't be afraid to order from the Chinese menu, and ask the server about the items. You will not be disappointed. They also do not use MSG, which speaks volumes about how much flavour they can pack into their dishes.The restaurant itself is quite small, so you may need to call and book a table, but the place is clean, facilities are well kept, decor is pleasantly neutral and the parking is plentiful.

For the price it was not all that great. It did not taste fresly made. The chicken chow main was dryer than usual and the chicken fried rice tasted like it was at the very bottom of the pot. The beef with black and green beans in sauce well..... the beef was tough and we mostly ended up chewing on fat only to spit it out. The delivery guy was nice though.

Ordered through DoorDash, great food, really happy with it and the ginger beef was just the right amount of spicy, however it contained hair! Not a fan of pulling hair out of the ginger beef, it was clearly baked right into it.

For two years that I have been in Calgary, I had to travel to the Northeast to get any decent Chinese food. Even then, the quality of food never met my expectations and service was always lacking. As my husband would attest, I am super picky, especially with Chinese food. I was getting tired of driving 20 minutes just to a get a decent bowl of noodles. When Silver City opened, I thought it would be another Chinese take out serving the same old western dishes. But this place is far beyond your typical take out place. It is the ONLY restaurant that does western and authentic Chinese dishes well. Silver City checks all boxes. The place is super clean and bright. The staff goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers. They use fresh, quality ingredients. Their dishes are cooked the way it is supposed to be. The fact that there are so many Chinese customers tells you this place is totally authentic!!! I am so ecstatic that FINALLY, I found the best Chinese restaurant in Calgary. And to top it off, it is close to home. Now my hubby can have his western dishes while I can get to enjoy the authentic version.

They stopped using door dash because skip the dishes wants all the business. The food is more expensive on skip as is the delivery fee.I ordered through the silver city website tonight and after I entered my address a message popped up saying my delivery was $4 and total including taxes was $28.25. The delivery guy arrives and my total is actually higher because the delivery fee is $7 which is NOT what their website told me. I even went back and looked at my emailed receipt, it says the delivery fee is $4 and my total is $28.25.1 star because their food is usually good however the chicken fried rice was not good tonight, 2nd star because the delivery guy showed up sooner than the estimated 45 minute delivery time. Don't trust the price it gives you online, it's not correct and you will be charged more.

This was the most disappointing food I have ever paid for, and unfortunately that is not an overreaction. The chow mein was super salty, the beef and broccoli had no flavour and a small fruit fly in the small amount I had, the garlic chicken was hard/chewy/soggy, and the dumplings were stale and mostly onion on the inside. We had one serving of everything and ended up throwing the rest away. I hate throwing food away, it is so incredibly wasteful it hurts my heart. Also, it was $70 straight into the garbage. I am so so so disappointed we used most of our eating out money for the month on this.

Ordered the ginger beef, beef ho fun, and the Cantonese chow mein. Loved all the dishes especially the beef ho fun. Will definitely order from this restaurant again.

Definitely great authentic Chinese food here in the deep South! Great service and great food; you can't go wrong! So thankful that they're open right here at 130th Ave! Now we don't have to drive for 30 minutes just to get some good Chinese food!Highly recommend if you want some great authentic Chinese food!*Update Nov 2019.Came by today to try out their lunch session. They have congee and noodles, which were all very good (as always). We also tried the 海蜇手撕雞 (Jellyfish with shredded chicken) and 豬扒喇沙湯麵 (Laksa Styled Pork Noodles) and they were equally amazing. The Jellyfish with shredded chicken is actually only available on the Chinese menu but be sure to check it out if you're interested in trying more authentic styled Chinese dishes!Recommend trying the Laksa noodles for sure!(Parking is busy because it's lunch time, but Tony Roma's is just across the street and they aren't opened for lunch so just park there for easy access.)

Introduced by a friend of mine, the food here is really good although a bit on the expensive side for chinese food to be honest.Excellent service and fair sized portions, food is full of flavour and cooked to order.Overall experience was great.
