I can't say enough about the service from Carrie and Tom. We had a disastrous problem with UPS and they were so helpful. They went way beyond to help us find our packages and get them delivered. Tom arranged delivery of the delayed packages and made a very stressful situation so much easier. I was grateful for the kind effort. Thank you. I highly recommend!!!

I had an older system and wanted to see what I could do to upgrade it. Their build-guy Seth talked with me, answered all my questions, and researched a couple options we could go with. Once I had chosen a build, Seth gave me a timeline and set about creating my system. I couldn't be happier with the price or the results. Seth built an amazing rig. Cable management is top notch and he provided me with options for the look. The computer runs great and I would recommend TechAlley to anyone.

First off I am perfectly happy with the repair and the quick turnaround. But when I went to pay I showed the $10 off coupon that is displayed at the checkout, I was told that I could not use it.

I was having battery charging issue with my laptop. On the same day, they told that there is no issue with battery it's perfectly fine and they will keep the laptop for 3 days, they will check more and let me know. After checking, they said that everything is fine they checked all the ports and software there is no issue just the battery needs to be changed. They were charging quite high for new battery. I bought a new battery by myself and installed it and saw that the new battery is also not getting charged. HENCE PROVED, THEY DID NOT CHECK THE PORTS AND EVERYTHING THEY TOLD.... ALSO THEY CHARGED ME $76 IN THE NAME OF DIAGNOSIS. I feel cheated :)

Had a computer made there. Good quality components. Works like a charm. Price is quite reasonable considering the quality of the components. Staff was friendly and got the job done quicker than I expected considering the parts shortages. I'd buy there again and no they didn't pay me for this.

As a Purolator drop off centre they refuse to give you your packages. PUROLATOR said all I have to do is show the address I had the message and they refused to release the package to me. Terrible service they refused to even try to help or look at my text history with Purolator that stated CLEARLY all i need to bring to pick up a pack for a disabled person i live with is to prove i live at the same address with my ID with I did. They told me if the disabled person cant come in its our fault and problem. They are lazy and unhelpful.UPDATE:YOUR REPLAY IS FULL OF LIES. AND YOU COST US $40 FOR A DISABLED PERSON TO TAKE A TAXI. WHEN PUROLATOR CLEARLY TELLS ME THE CUSTOMER THAT ANY ONE IN THE HOUSE HOLD CAN PICK IT UP THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS NOT THE NAME.THIS STORE IS FULL OF LIARS DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR BUSINESS

The associate refused to assist me when I came to pick up a UPS parcel for my wife. I informed him that the UPS email explicitly stated that only a tracking number was required if I was not the addressee. I showed him the email.He carelessly looked for the parcel, and said he could not match the name. I politely asked to try and match the parcel by the tracking number, a few times, which he refused and said there was no point because the name did not match. It felt like he did not wish to assist me at all.Finally he agreed to look for it by matching the tracking number. Almost immediately, he found the box. The name was spelt correctly (which he originally claimed he could not find), and the tracking number was plainly there. Extremely poor customer service bordering on utter incompetence. Imagine if I had left and needed to come back. All for nothing. I hope that associate is provided better training for the sake of future customers.

I've never left a review before but for this place I just had to. I went in and told them my laptop battery was broken and the hinge was damaged. They charged me 75$ for a 'diagnostic fee' and told me a few days after that their diagnosis found that my battery and hinge was broken. So they charged me 75$ for information I gave them myself. Then they were charging 140 for a battery and 40$ for an installation fee. They're an absolute money grab, they didn't even try fixing the hinge but some store down the street was able to give me multiple options as well as a better price on the battery.

Cheap store. I used their UPS drop-off service and they charged me $5 to tape my label to the package. I was told I either had to pay $5 to use a couple pieces of tape, otherwise I could leave, go find tape, and come back.I went in thinking, this is a nice store, I'll look around to see what they have to offer after I send my package. But their cheapness turned me away forever.

My shopping experience at Techalley yesterday left me deeply disappointed and shocked at the appalling customer service and the low quality of products on offer.I visited Techalley at 12:30 pm with a seemingly simple need: to purchase a USB to lightning cable for my iPhone. The cable I purchased was evidently not an original Apple product, but I trusted the assurance of the sales associate who claimed it was of high quality. Sadly, this was not the case. The cable proved defective almost immediately, showing intermittent charging, sometimes failing to charge at all, or charging at a snail's pace while simultaneously blocking data transfer, proving to be not fit for purpose.Frustrated and inconvenienced, I returned to the store at 3:30pm the same day, expecting understanding, a swift resolution and a simple refund so that I could resolve the issue elsewhere.Instead of the apology or concern I anticipated for selling me a faulty product that was not fit for purpose, I was met with an unhelpful and dismissive attitude from not one, but three separate employees, and accusations that the fault lay with my phone or charger, despite both working perfectly with another cable the very same day. Three separate employees denied my refund request and proceeded to ask me to leave the store.The sheer lack of empathy and willingness to address a genuine customer issue left me shocked, appalled, and almost in tears. The dismissive approach to my complaint was neither professional nor compassionate.This shocking customer service was not only hurtful but also deeply surprising. Although I've long championed smaller, local businesses, and am a local small business owner myself, I regret to say that in this instance, I felt more like an inconvenience than a valued customer. The experience was distressing to the point of tears, and I couldn't believe such unprofessional customer service still exists in Canada in this day and age.I cannot speak to their skills in computer repair, but if you are in need of computer parts or accessories, I urge you to consider other options before risking similar treatment at Techalley.I hope that the management reviews their customer service policies, but in the meantime, I cannot in good conscience recommend Techalley based on my recent experience. One-star rating – only because zero stars is not an option.
