This has been the most amazing vet clinic I’ve been too, I have rats and it’s hard finding a good clinic for pocket pets! They have been nothing but exceptional with all my babies and very knowledgeable!

These people are so great with our cat. Thankfully, we've only had to visit a couple times but I love how compassionate they are. They really care for the animals they treat. As a bonus, using their services doesn't break the bank, either, which is tough to find with a city veterinarian clinic. As long as we live in the area we will continue to come here and recommend it to our friends and family for their companions.

Dr Slaunwhite and the staff were all wonderful during a very difficult week with our cat. He received excellent care and they were also very compassionate.

Staff is friendly and I haven't had any problems yet with bringing my girl there. Pic cause she's cute.

This is a good place to take your pets for the medical needs. The staff is great and caring. It's also a good spot to get your special needs pet food. They have some of the best prices in town.They have a good COVID setup where you order by phone, prepay via e-transfer or credit card. Call them when you get there and they bring your order to you. This was my vet clinic for the last 14 years, and I could not give any higher praise to the staff that work here. Always clear and professional, and never have I had a bad experience with any of the staff here (current or past). I had a very sick kitty when he came into my life in 2003, less than a year old, we dealt with several operations and near heartbreak, but Companion saved him, and nicknamed him the miracle kitty". Dr. Slaunwhite was amazing. He and his staff took excellent care of our cat George. And although the clinic was forced to temporarily close due to potential covid exposure and he was in isolation at home, he kept in constant touch with us checking in once or twice daily to see how George was doing. We have brought out pets to this animal hospital for years without issue, our cat has a known urinary tract infection to both us and the vet. We purchase their special urinary tract food on a regular basis directly from Companion Animal Hospital. Today we called to get a prescription refilled for amoxicillin which they advised they would refill no problem without bringing the cat in every time to avoid the stress that it causes and today they refused to dispense the medication without seeing the cat. If its a known issue, we were told to just call and have it refilled no problem why is my cat left to suffer because Companion Animal Hospital wants to make $150 on a regular checkup, now were in a position with a sick cat and no medication.Not a very good Animal Companion... do they care about money or your pet?TLDR:We have gone to Companion Animal Hospital for years:1) We purchase the suggested special urinary food wet + dry2) Last time we did bring him in for a checkup they didn't collectthe sample in time and had to keep him overnight and had torecollect it in the morning and he was traumatized from havingto stay there over night3) Was advised in the past if the issues do come back to just call and they will refill the prescription without having to stress the cat out and bring him in4) Called today to get a refill of amoxicillin since cat is displaying signs of issue returning5) Was told no and that they would need to see the cat for a regular checkup and pee sample...6) I said no we were advised we wouldn't need to bring the cat in for this issue and they flat out refused to dispense medication.Needless to stay we will not be bringing out animals back here.

I had a scare with my cat and was frantic. The front desk calmed me down, assured me it would be ok and that we'd get my cat in the next day.Next day we got her in. With covid restrictions, I talked to the vet, explained what was going on and was walked through the options. It was a great way to ensure everyone was safe and my cat would get proper care. I dropped her off at the door and waited while she was examined. The vet called and gave me an update. Told me what he was doing and how to proceed. I didn't feel like I was being rushed or that any if my questions were weird.After that, paid over the phone so we could all be safe and picked up my cat.I was very happy with the service and professionalism and safety without compromising on care
