They are considered essential if they're not open to the public. You have to wait up to a week to get your documents that you need ASAP. They can limited access, wear masks and and require their customers to wear masks as well with hand sanitizer availability. Our government offices are essential to the public,open them up for access

They helped me get an old document related to our property. The thing was from the 60's, but they had it. I had to pay about $10 for them to pull it from the archives, but they let me go back there and take a snapshot of the screen (which ended up being higher quality than the printout).
