Prairie Studio Glass

A few years ago I was in search of a creative pursuit. Learning how to create stained glass art at Prairie Studio Glass was more enjoyable than I could have imagined. The classes are fantastic and the staff are amazing. I still can't believe that I was able to make such beautiful pieces so quickly!

I took a beginner stained glass art last November 2019 with Sylvia for 6 weeks. It has been an extremely great experience. Sylvia helped me and each of other new students patiently in each step of the process. The 3-hours class went by too quickly. I worked on two projects, a 2-D and a 3-D work of art. I was encouraged to choose the patterns according to my level of interests. You don't have to be worry about not being able to complete the projects asap, the more important thing is that Sylvia, as the instructor, keeps encourage you on trying again and again even when you are stumbling on difficulties. She said that the most important is that when we are really enjoying the process. There is a wide range of prices of the tools and the stained glasses at the Prairie Glass Studio. Everyone is the shop has been welcoming whenever I stop by to browse those. Finally, you can always choose those that suit your budget, your interests as well as at your own time. Shall there is another opportunity arise, I would love to come back to learn more. All the best wishes.

Beautiful stained glass available to buy or to make as a project. Tutorial available for stained glass diy projects. Colourful designs are displayed around the store. Store is accessible by bus 15, 29, and 36. One can visit the store after finishing grocery at Safeway Sargent or after finishing errands from RBC.

I took a beginner class at Prairie Studio Glass over 20 years ago. It was amazing! I am still doing stained glass. The Studio staff are more than willing to help and always there when I need advice. If you are interested in stained glass this is the best place to go.

I started in Stained Glass some 22 years ago and started going to Prairie Stained Glass at that time. Originally I was doing glass projects mainly for personal and family but have since done some commissioned work. I have taken several classes at PSG (sometimes twice) and have always enjoyed them and learned new tricks of the trade. The staff have never failed to assist me when problems or questions arose and have been a great source of knowledge and encouragement. A large part of the reason I still enjoy doing glass work is due to the guidance from PSG. It is so great and fun to deal with people who enjoy what they do and are enthusiastic about it. I hope to be a part of the PSG community for another 20+ years. Thanks everyone.

Great classes. Great selection. Friendly service. They are able to get patterns made from photos so you can custom make your projects.

Prairie Studio Glass (PSG) staff are very knowledgeable about all things glass art. Amazing glass art available for sale as well as glass supplies 90 and 96. I have attended many workshops at PSG. Recommend PSG highly.
