Panama Hill Park
We mostly use the trails to avoid the roads. As a result we find a pleasant bit of nature within the boundaries of our city.

Panama Hill Park has a number of good trails that give you a chance to spend some time immersed in nature. This area is often noted as attracting rare birds.

Wonderful place to walk and see birds. As of writing panama flats has the highest unique species count of all birding locations in Victoria.

Panama Hill Park
There are trails all over the park that you can't really see from the road! Lots of snakes too, especially on the south slope of Panama Hill. Too cold now but I will post snake pics in the spring.

Panama Hill Park
This is a wide walking trail. There is a wetland bird habitat here, garry oaks and wildflowers. It interconnects with other trails and access at Hyacinth Rd has parking, washrooms and a playground. There are benches, picnic tables and plenty of shady spots. This park has something for everyone.
