First time wedding dress shopping so was a bit nervous about the experience but both Lilly and Gemma were very nice and welcoming. They made sure we had the downstairs fitting area as I want my cousin to attend who is in a wheelchair and they put a removable small ramp outside the store so she can get into the shop.Lilly was the main lady that helped me get into each dress. After trying on many dresses,I said yes to the one that I tried on first. Didn’t feel rushed or pressured about extras. They are both very helpful with suggestions of what you can add or change about the dresses. Double Straps etc Recommend visiting this store if you’re local and shopping for your wedding dress.

Well what can I say … I had the most amazing day with you all yesterday! You made me feel very comfortable with everything and made sure I was okay as it’s such a big day and also very overwhelming. Your input to everything has helped me massively in choosing the right dress for my big day! I’m absolutely in love with it. All the other dresses I tried on were absolutely beautiful in their own way. Thank you all so much for being a big help to helping me. Lilly and Gemma you both are so kind and caring, you both listened to what I was saying about each individual dress I tried on and made it so much easier to pick the one.

I really can't thank Gemma and the girls at Brides of Southampton enough for helping me pick my dream wedding dress! All of my guests said how amazing my dress was and I really felt a million dollars on the day. If anyone is looking to find their dream wedding dress then go and give these girls a visit, they really are amazing and will do whatever they can to make everything right for you!xx

From the moment Michelle called me to confirm my appointment, she had me feeling excited! Michelle’s knowledge was evident, whilst also listening to my thoughts and feelings. She found me the perfect dress (even if I’d never have believed it was whilst it was on the hanger!) by using her expertise and made the experience one that was enjoyable and memorable. Super fun, super smiley, the best place!I cannot praise Brides of Southampton enough! I visited last week on my first day dress shopping. Having already visited a couple of other places I was feeling slightly overwhelmed but Lily understood exactly what I wanted, what suited and what didn't! It was like I had an old friend helping me, who knew me so well. There were smiles, honest opinions (gratefully received) and laughter. There was absolutely no pressure to buy but I did end up buying my dress and the girls made me feel so special about this. Can't wait to return to collect my dress! Wish I could do it all over again! You're the best! Thank you x

My wife bought her wedding dress from the Brides of Southampton. As we generally aren't fussed on sticking to standard conventions, I went along with her to help her pick out her dress. She fell in love with the Empress dress. I can't really blame her as it looked absolutely amazing. Gemma and Edna were really kind and helpful throughout the whole process. They made us both feel really welcome and comfortable and didn't try to push us into buying anything. We had our wedding in Greece, so had to transport the dress over with us in the plane. Edna somehow defied the laws of physics and managed to fit this huge extravagant dress into a tiny box for the journey. Massive thanks again ladies! We'll pop in to the shop again when the wedding photos arrive :)

The lovely Edna looked after me yesterday and what a delightful time we had. From the minute she opened the door and kindly offered us prosecco to when we left, and came back a couple of hours later to order my dream dress! She was calm, knowledgable and clearly passionate about genuinely finding the right dress for me. She made me feel very relaxed and was not pushy at all. She went over the appointment time to allow me to try on all different accessories etc with the dresses. She is a star! I will be returning in two weeks for a second appointment to try on more veils etc and reveal the dress to my mother in law. The boutique was very clean and tidy and felt very personal. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and cannot wait for my reveal and fitting appointments!

Wow what a beautiful experience! I was recommended to come here by a friend because of how welcoming the team where and she was not wrong, I felt very comfortable with Edna and she let me really express my ideas aswell as helping me in the right direction! I found my dream gown and said yes to the dress! It felt so special and I cant wait to come back when it's in! Michelle was also very helpful and both ladies were so lovely and bubbly! highly recommend!

I cannot fault BOS and the experience of buying my wedding dress! Michelle made everything so special for me and my family, she was attentive and supportive and made me feel so comfortable during my first appointment! We had the best time and it was so much fun, nothing was too much trouble and we all felt so relaxed even though Michelle was working so hard finding more dresses for me!It was obvious to us all how much everyone there loved their job and it made all the difference as a customer.
