I love their facial service , will come again

I came in for a gel manicure with removal and did not expect the end result to be clumpy and having areas that were splotchy on my nails. When I brought it the attention of the nail technician, she blamed it on me flinching when she was cutting my cuticles/filing my nails. I was flinching because she accidentally stabbed me with the cutter which resulted in the nail bed of the ring finger to be slightly cut. Overall, she tried her best but it was poor technique and would definitely not recommend. She did give me a discount because of how unhappy I was but did not apologize for the poor experience.

I have been going to Renfrew Beauty Salon since it opened for facials. The staff and service is phenomenal and I have never been disappointed. The detail and effort that the staff gives is very professional. I highly recommend this salon if it is your first time getting a facial or any type of skincare related appointments.

Mani-pedis with Carrie are amazing. If you are looking for solo seating vs a group outing with a super lovely detail-oriented perfectionist, look no further. The shop is tidy & everyone has a smile on their face. What's not to like? Thanks a million!

Been visiting for several years. Owner is a licensed esthetician with excellent customer service. Charged so reasonably too, especially when quality products are used. Love the new location: central and lots of parking. Congratulations!

I would give them a 0 if it was an option. My daughter and I had time in Vancouver so decided to get a pedicure. We called ahead to book an appointment. When we arrived the lady who was with a client in the back made a phone call and said the girl would be here right away. I can only assume she called a friend and not a skilled nail tech and was helpingl her out. I was seated on a hard waiting room type of plastic chair, my feet were not soaked and no callous removal of any sort was done. The lady who spoke no English filed my nails and then proceeded to poorly put on gel. My daughter while waiting had her feet placed in a bucket with a trash bag liner to soak. When her turn came she received a bit of a foot buff with a sanding block and also received a poorly applied gel. A few days later her toe hurt and she discovered the gel was attached to her skin and as the nail grew it was pulling on the skin and causing pain. She fixed it herself and removed the gel polish. What a huge waste of money. Definitely don't go here for pedicures.

Very sincere service and professional skill. It is better to make reservations to ensure your spot. This place meets my requirement and I would definitely come back and highly recommended.

Only gets 1 star cause zero wasn’t an option!! I called ahead to make an appointment 2 days in advance and clarified 3 times that I wanted a *liquid gel fill* to make sure they have that service. They insisted they do. I arrived and they not only did NOT have liquid gel, but they didn’t have powder gel/acrylics or nail extensions or fills of ANY kind.It took ten minutes of talking back and forth with me for me to realize that they had no idea what any of the terms or methods of professional nail services actually are. An absolute waste of my time. All they do is paint nails. Nail polish, nail enamel, gel topcoat.Don’t waste your time here.
