I am a proud employee of harmony house and can honestly say it’s the best place I’ve worked. The management and owners are so supportive and truly want the best for their staff and the people who live there. The nurses and care staff that I’ve worked with have all been so welcoming and I’ve witnessed everyone of them genuinely strive to make a positive difference in the peoples lives who live at harmony house. I look forward to every shift and Im proud to say I am part of that team.

I’ve had the pleasure of managing Harmony House for coming up on a year now. I can’t think of a time where I had the pleasure of working with such dedicated, knowledgeable, and all around kind employees. The owners truly are the cherry on the cake though, this is the first time in my career I feel heard and supported by upper management. I’ve worked in the industry for almost 20 years, and this is the first time I’ve been able to give that true 1:1 nursing care we all dream about. Harmony House is a very special place, and I am truly honoured to be running it.

I'm a volunteer with one of the residents at Harmony House. The level of care and professionalism is amazing. Pam, Allyson, Genevieve are my main contacts, all incredible nurses and supporting staff. They go out of their way to make the residents feel at home, away from home. For anyone needing a small care facility with exceptional nurses, look no further than Harmony House.

Harmony House is a wonderful facility with people who absolutely love their jobs and care for their clients with dignity and empathy. One thing that I think would be beneficial for all clients that live there would be a van that is able to transport people with wheelchairs, as well as an attendant to go with them to whatever appointments they might have. There is nothing negative I could say about any of the employees, whether it be nurses or care aides.

Harmony house is an amazing temple of love and light for super humans and their journeys. I love coming here to help my homie because they are always so friendly and nice and you can tell they truly care about the people that they care for. A world class facility with so many great vibes. 10/10

I absolutely love working at this location. I was starting to loose the things I loved about being a Nurse, but have been able to find renewed love of being a Nurse since being here. The ability to have the time to spend with each client- quality time that makes a difference in not only the clients, but my day- makes it all so worth it. The team here are amazing!!! Everyone is treated as an equal, all work amazing together as a team. We have the most incredible support of our house manager and the owners. Can think of anywhere better to work and be a Nurse❤️

Harmony House
After an accident in 2010, my son was left with a TBI. As he needed special care, he was moved into Harmony House in Nanaimo. The owners, admin and staff have been so considerate, compassionate, thoughtful and caring and not just to my son but to all residents as well as to me. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Harmony House.

I have had the pleasure of working at Harmony House for the past two years. I love going to work as I get to be part of a caring and compassionate team that strives to offer outstanding care to our residents. I find working here to be a rewarding experience as I really feel we get to offer individualized, whole person care, which is what a career in healthcare should be about.

Harmony house is a great place to work! I enjoy that it is a small facility tucked away within the Westwood area, it really feels homelike and gives a sense of being part of the neighborhood.The clients receive very supportive and thoughtful care, and the management and other staff are excellent!
