Great ambiance inside— the decor & music gave this place an authentic touch. The food was pretty good but I wasn’t wowed by it. However, the service was good.

We were absolutely satisfied with everything here! The food was just out of this world, and the service and hospitality were excellent! We stayed in Toronto for only 3 days but had to came here for lunch 2 times!They even included one extra grilled tomato for my lamb shank. Cause they could tell how much I am into grilled tomatoes since no one orders them with that dish, lol!

We’ve recently been to this place, and I really liked the taste of Kebab platter and kashke badmenjun of this place. Just the portion of foods were small.

It was a pleasant experience. New type of cuisine we tried. The server was really kind and courteous. The restaurant was busy. The appetizers and kaboobs were really delicious. The chicken in pomegranate was okay okay for me but hey it's on everyone's personal taste preferences. I tried it to try but I found it sweet for me. Other than that the food was delicious and we had a lovely time

Excellent Persian dishes. The Lamb kebobs, barley soup and rice pudding were off the hook. Service was swift and pleasant. We felt more like we were being served at someone's house than a restaurant. They even had a lovely display for Persian New Year. We arrived within half hour of closing without reservations and they graciously accommodated us.

A small Persian restaurant in Yonge street which did not catch our eyes first. To be honest, we went there since we were only hungry and needed something to eat. We had no plan to go and test their food. However, when we entered the place, the coziness of the place and the peaceful traditional Iranian music made us more comfortable and relaxed. We tried different stuff and all were great. Fresh bread, mast moosir, jooj and koobideh were great but they brought us a veggie grape leaf wrap which was soaked in a magical sauce. I’ve never figured out what was that sauce but it was like you don’t want to stop eating the bites. It was crazy delicious. Definitely a must go place for food lovers, especially Persian cuisine.The serving was so professional. I paid attention and saw that the owner was watching us to make a perfect timing on bringing the next item. He didn’t bring all at once or delayed. The timing was in a way that you wanted to let him decide for the next items.The only drawback might be parking availability which the owner can correct me if he/she reads this review. In one word, perfect!Portion: 8/10Price: 5/10Taste: 10/10Service: 10/10

Darvish restaurant is a must go persian restaurant in downtown Toronto!Everything we ordered tasted very good. Quality was very good!Staff are very friendly.Moreover, the atmosphere is very nostalgic in many aspects like decoration and background music!

Great Persian cuisine - lots of vegetarian options and the Persian taster is great place to start. The rice is very fluffy and the eggplant dip was sweet sour and savoury. The kebabs were juicy and delicious as well, especially the lamb. Everything reasonably priced and quick and friendly service.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and service.The kebabs were average and its on the expensive side, but great place for trying out different Persian dishes
