Adopted a very fear reactive 18 month old dog who didn’t like anyone other than family in the house. Tried one behaviour trainer and made very small progress and then found Skylar. Without Skylar we would not be getting ready for a trip to celebrate a huge milestone birthday with my Dad. We have made so much progress with Skylar’s help a house/dog sitter is safe to come take care of our fur babies while we vacation. Words cannot express our gratitude. We will continue training and won’t consider anyone but Skylar!

We have been using Skylar to assist us with training our German Shepherd for almost a year now. Skyler came to help us get control of our rescue . Had a very car reactive spaniel. So much so that I had become afraid to take him on walks. Just completed a six week block of sessions and my dog is sitting while cars drive by and ignoring them. Amazing progress is an understatement.

Amazing trainer, genuinely cares about your dog. Came to Skylar because my dog had reactivity, I had been to countless trainers before regarding the issue, all of them seemed to just make it worse. Skylar not only fixed the issue but also explained what the root of my dogs reactivity was. His training is based off of science, and has a track record to prove it. We used Skylar recently as we needed help with our German Shepherd rescue dog, Stella. From the first moment I was amazed at how much he could bring Stella out of her shell and actually act like the great dog she is. We learned a lot in our time with Skylar, things that we thought we were doing right.We have continued using some of the information we learned and she continues to get better every day, slowly, but she is getting there.Thanks again Skylar.

Our experience with Sky went above and beyond our expectations!Sky took the time to take us back to basics, identifying root causes for reactivity, lack of motivation and learning as the handler. Training is a two way street between your companion but also as you being their leader. I was able to understand why other approaches only worked for a short amount of time and found a sustainable practice to build upon.After 6 sessions:- Walking on a leash with no pull! No more unique leashes or collars to try to control my dog. My dog WANTS to be by my side and understands when he is free" to wander on his own.-Improved recall and proper use of clicker- No more crazy greetings at the door!!! I can come home with my hands full and my dog won't bark
