Every single aspect of our experience was wonderful. The meals and desserts that came out of this team's kitchen were so flavourful, fresh, abundant with locality and deeply satisfying. Incredible hospitality and service with smiles bigger than you could imagine. Thank you for an absolutely incredible time. I could eat here every day! :D

The food is exceptional in all of its forms and the hospitality is outstanding. The energy of this place is so cool. I was blessed to stay a few days at the resort and eat all of my meals at the Dhalia restaurant. Maridel and her team bring deliciousness to every bite.

What an incredible culinary delight! Every meal I had here recently was delicious. Beautiful salads with amazing flavours, wide variety of vegetables and seafood and meats were divine. Desserts were out of this world, and they could also accommodate my food sensitivities. All served with a side of smiles!

I had the honour of staying at the resort and eating at this delicious restaurant! I have never eaten so well, so fresh and sooo delicious. I'm not sure how I will be able to feed myself after eating all these delicious meals! Incredible team and service. I am celiac and could basically eat everything! Dream spot!

Hands down, one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in. I was lucky enough to spend three days at Rustico Resort and eat multiple meals at Dhalia. Dinners incorporated local seafood, island potatoes, and vegetables for some of the most incredible dinners. Fresh lobster and steak combined with root vegetables and a potato gratin was absolutely divine. The salads were fresh, inventive and perfectly dressed. Often, a restaurant that excels in main courses often falls short on desserts. Not at Dhalia. The pastry chef amazed us each night, and even though I said I wasn’t going to have dessert, I could not resist the fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. Dhalia is one of the best reasons to visit Prince Edward Island.

Such fresh delicious food! The staff make you feel right at home and the variety of dishes means there is something for everyone. I can’t recommend Maridel’s cooking and the hospitality of the whole team at Dahlia enough!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a conference being held at Rustico Resort and the meals were all held onsite at Dhalia, which is not a restaurant in any typical sense of the word! Held in a large, open and comfortable great room, the long tables streamed together to host a large group of 20 of us, made you feel like you were being welcomed 'home.'Chef Maridel's, along with her sous chef, prepared every meal with care in both the quality and in their presentation which was served buffet style for breakfasts and lunches and family style for our dinners.Clearly using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, boosted the taste of every single dish I had there and special requests were easily accommodated with a smile.The chef's team running 'front of house' were phenomenal. The importance of friendly welcomes, attentiveness during dining to wine service and the cleanliness of the entire space was 5 star service.When you can get all of this in one package, why wouldn't you want to return?? In fact, makes me - whose also a chef - want to consider moving to the island !!! Bravo team.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing! Our server was a delight and she even gave us an appetizer on the house that was so tasty and the presentation was beautiful. I would definitely come here again.

I have never felt so taken care of when it comes to food during a stay! Maridel's team was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating of our large group's many dietary restrictions. The food was truly some of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world - incredibly tasty and colourful salads, a large variety of main dishes made with local and seasonal ingredients, and beautiful presentation with local and edible flowers and garnishes. I am not a big dessert person, but Daniel’s cakes are also to die for! Can’t wait to come back - Dhalia is such a treat and an amazing restaurant that we’re very much looking forward to supporting again!
