Worst nail salon and chain in barrie. The employees charged me 30 for painting my little daughters nails and toes and the same for soaking my sons feet and trimming his nails. Both kids then when i went to pay she asked for 130 and then changed the amount I paid to 115. I was so mad at these guys and how they operate. Absolute frauds and the shellac peeled off 3 toes in 4 days. Thays not shellac. Extremely rude staff and dishonest operation all together.I'm reporting the fraud to BB

My friend and her mother were treated with insane disrespect. A worker screamed at them and the nails were done very poorly. ‘Ombré’ wasn’t even blended right and when my friend addressed that she was completely ignored. And on top of that they were still fully charged for their visit. Pretty lame way to run a business, I’d invest in staff with some personality and respect.

I went in today for a pedicure and a full set of nails that was meant to be ombre. The nail tech that was taking care of me gave me attitude when I asked if she could use the foot shaver. She replied she didn’t have it. My assumptions was she could go get a clean one from the heater. She then ignored me and then used the same one on my foot that they used on my mom. I brushed it off and proceeded with my nails. When the tech did my nails she kept giving me dirty looks. When I said I wasn’t happy she ignored me again. And kept working. When she got up I immediately went to the tech working with my mom to explain that I didn’t like the service. The nail tech doing mine “ Hannah” came to me and started yelling at me telling me that my nails were fine. She then screamed at my mother. With No apologies, We still were charged for service. They said that they would fix but I couldn’t stay any longer. I wouldn’t recommend this salon ever. It was completely unprofessional although they will be fixing tomorrow morning, it’s a waste of my time now and I feel High uncomfortable this tech was Disrespectful and rude. I don’t make reviews, but this needed to he said. I hope no one ever has to deal with this service.

Worst experience ever!! The first time Cathy put the regular nail polish it had bubbles after drying. So we decided to change the polish thinking it’s the nail polish creating the bubbles. The second time she applied it, it was even worse!! Had wiggles that looked like it was squished together and looked very thick. She said it’s my fault for choosing the nail polish and it’s also the nail polishes fault. I previously came here and the other nail technician did a great job! But this definitely was my worst nail experience and I would never recommend coming here. If I could give less then one star I would.

Went here last week and my acrylics are already coming off in a week. They were done extremely untidily with a lot of acrylic on the skin. She was extremely rough while working on my nails and when I told her to go easy she asked me to watch the TV as it’ll divert my attention. She was also trying to rush through as she was constantly running around the store in the middle of my work. And I took a few seconds to drink water and she got upset started to tell me how I should not be wasting her time.I could have forgotten this horrible customer service if the nails were ok. But my nails look soooo ugly and now are coming off too in just 5 days. Sucha waste of my time & money.

I got my nails done here and the lady Insisted I get a new set even though I only asked for a fill. She told me if it was $45 with shellac colour included. She told me not to worry and just to get the new site because my nails were in bad shape from the previous person who did my nails. I agreed and allowed her to do a new set. She was very rough when taking off my nails and constantly rough with one particular finger that I told her was sensitive to begin with. When she applied the UV gel it was very uneven and very thick. I told her about this and she said it will all look OK once the polish is on. I continued to sit there and let her shape my nails which I might add we’re all uneven. Once the polish was on I notice she missed a bunch of spots on the sides of my nails and asked her to go back and fill in the missing polish. She did so but took the polish right into my cuticle and some nails have polish on the finger. Would not recommend

Easily the worst salon in Barrie, If not Ontario. Certain Staff are rude, unprofessional & lack basic understanding of cleanliness. So so DIRTY.

It started out great when my gfs and I went in today. They flagged an employee to come back in to help us. Meanwhile we were asked 4 times what services we wanted and told different things. One friend got started with her pedicure while the other 2 of us waited. We were brought to the chairs and sat there. One of us left. I sat there for 30 minutes before I was even talked to. Then I finally had a tech come and started the soak for my feet, in cold water. She commented on how bad my feet were...yes it's been a long time since I had a pedicure cuz we live in a pandemic. She kept talking about how bad my feet were. My friend ended up with blue nail polish on her skin, no attempt to wipe it off.Literally couldn't get out of there fast enough.We won't be back.

I went in yesterday for a manicure, and felt like the tech was extremely rushed. The phone rang a few times, she kept getting interrupted; and any time someone came in, she told them she was too busy. She cut my cuticle so much I bled, and she did no massage with my manicure. The skin was all still left on my hands, so I finally said I wasn’t going to pay until they were cleaned up. She claimed she wasn’t done but at that point she was putting the oil on the nails; which would indicate she was done. Overall I felt like I spent 40.00 for terrible service and a terrible result. I will not go back.

Beware of this business. Ive been going to Galaxy for about 15 years for nails, waxing, tanning and pedis. I purchased 200 tanning minutes and used about 40 of the minutes over the last couple months. I called today and went in to use another 10 minutes and all of a sudden the lady doesn't recognize me and they dont have my 200 minutes on file. I told the lady exactly who I bought the minutes from and had all the details. She argued with me for about 5 minutes until I realized this business is either blatantly ripping people off or they have a terrible tracking system. Either way, I will NEVER return and will gladly take my business elsewhere.
