Dr A Willamowicz

I called the office to make my yearly appointment and the number is out of service. I'm not sure, but I think this might be a bad sign for me. Is Dr. Willamowicz okay? Should I assume I don't have an Endo anymore?

The receptionist for Dr. Willamowicz ( I believe her name is Kathy), has been so wonderful! She is very professional, patient and kind. She always calls me back when I leave a message. I was very unhappy with the previous receptionist Dr. Willamowicz had (I have no idea what her name was, but I believe she retired...thank goodness!).Dr. Willamowicz has been my endro for several years and I find her to be very thorough and pleasant. I think it's unfortunate that some people write negative reviews as doctors have a lot on their plates and have several clients they must see. I know she is doing her best and cares for her patients. I have no complaints. She does talk fast but she's efficient and helpful.

Bad doctor not willing to help people in need just wants to do her own thing would rather push people who are disabled out to Toronto for help when she is fully capable of handling the workload of prescribing hormone treatment.

If I could give 0 stars I would. She's been my endo for years and I'm either way over medicated, or way undermedicated. This last visit she told me I needed to starve myself. Just stop eating and you'll lose weight. She is so arrogant and doesn't care to know about what I've done to lose weight and the 100 pounds that I have lost mean nothing. Now I'm struggling, doesn't matter what I do, I'm gaining. I've asked her for a full thyroid panel and she flat out refuses and tells me the rest of the thyroid panel is useless. I'm on the search for a new endo.

I heard she has retired and didn’t notify any patients. Number out of service.

She prescribes the wrong medication to my wife for her thyroid (overdose her.) She ended up in emergency with very high blood pressure. I have paper work to back it up dosage was increased drematicly.

She at times during the appointment seems a little erratic & scatterbrained but I've never had a problem with her, mind you I only see her once a year. She's nice enough. Just wish that they would have a call reminder policy. With it just being once a year it's easy to forget you have an appointment if you forgot to put it in your phone calendar.

Has been my daughters doctor since she was 14 when she was diagnosed with early Graves Disease, genetic on my mothers side of the family, and 18 yrs later my daughter is still doing well and I appreciate all she has done to help us over the years.

Excellent service. The Dr. is very pleasant and listens intently, asking good questions. Had a problem with one of the drugs, called the office and they helped me right away over the phone. Secretary also efficient and pleasant.

does not care about her patients increases synthroid way too much at once she treatsus like one size fits all it does not shame on her
