Great location, beautiful! The only downside for us was the wind which made it too cold to swim. And the waves it created made it dangerous for a 3 year old to swim...even a fair swimmer like myself. If you're not wanting to swim, it's perfect - especially if you're wanting to wind surf.We were in sites 23 & 24. The ground for tents was gravel so staking them in was extremely diffict, we broke at least 5 stakes so bring extra because with the wind you will have to stake everything down.

This park is amazing, the staff is super friendly and it's kept well. The bathrooms have running water and the beach is very nice.Campsites are big and they are far from each other so the noise is not a big issue.

We have lived as permanent residents on Monck Park Road, approximately across from the Quilchena Hotel property for a dozen years now. Winters were mostly spent south until last year. Most ice and snow was thus avoided.

The site was really well taken care of with nice flat spots for the tent and lots of sun and shade. The park down by the water was really nice too! We even saw some marmots which was cool. The washrooms were clean and the couple who runs this place were beyond lovely. You can tell that they take a lot of pride in this place. Thanks for having us!

Free camping in October! No water or garbage service. Outhouses provide no TP. Fabulous!

Always guaranteed decent weather on Nicola Lake and the water is nice and warm. The sites are flat and well maintained, and most have trees for shade. The main beach is a bit of a hike from the overflow sites, so try and find a private one. Ice and candy for the kids can be purchased from the Office, otherwise it's a 20min drive to Merritt.

The staff are so impolite and aggressive. We made a mistake in setting up the fire and we accepted it and apologized, however they accused us of telling lies and other stuff. We tried multiple times to open a kind discussion with them but they ignored us and kept saying we will call RCMP""

This is a great spot for enjoying a well deserved camp trip. The park staff are wonderful and do their utmost to accommodate.Sites are kept well maintained and the graveled area's racked.Public washroom's are clean and well lit.Theres a small playground and some historical signs to read.Boondocking at its best.
