It has indeed been a brilliant experience sharing and learning from one another during the course term of Cyber Security Fundamentals at York University. This course was delivered in an excellent way by experienced and knowledgeable professionals from the Cyber Security discipline who took the extra step further in inspiring and motivating to pursue a career in the Cyber Security discipline.Highly thankful to York University for providing such a talented pool of teachers

Amateur syllabus may be because SCS started in the recent years and they don't have enough alumni experience. The course is of no use for your professional development I would say. You can take a course here BUT better also do other certifications or else this school syllabus can't land you in a job.

Wrote a letter to York expressing my extreme dissatisfaction with the Family Mediation program. It is important to note that following the completion of this program, a practicum is highly recommended and can cost between $3000-$5000 dollars.

For me, the Post Grad HRM Certificate program proved super helpful. I really appreciate how everything was organized in the program structure and the courses were designed right according to the HRPA's requirements. Our instructors were great; not only they had full command over their subjects, but they also brought their work experience to the classroom and helped us know minor details about work life. This course was a combination of both theory and practical exposure in terms of HR and how it's useful in the business world. I am working right now and plan to go back to York for my masters in HR.

So far, my experience with York University School of continuing studies has been great. The staff is incredibly informative and helpful. They helped me with my concerns promptly, unlike other institutions where I needed to wait hours on the phone just to ask a simple question. York Uni's staff is out here answering it within 1 minute and resolving the issue flawlessly. I never regret enrolling at York University.

I had a memorable and an amazing experience at York U. The environment is friendly and people are nice. They really accommodate student not only academically but for special circumstances as well. I had an injury due to a fracture at the beginning of my 1st semester due to which I couldn’t attend classes, the management was so nice to help me get through that difficult situation without getting my studies affected. This school is Superb.

I wanted to learn more about Machine Learning but due to working full-time, my options were limited. The YorkU course was feasible because I only had to go on location during the weekend (for the most part). In about 8 months of intense studying, I now feel like I have the tools necessary to excel in the field of ML and AI. I gleaned practical knowledge which I am able to apply at my current work. Also, I now have a portfolio having completed several projects during the course of the program. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in getting into the field but has found self-study and online learning to be somewhat lacking. It's a vast field and I have to keep learning every day but I feel that the course has given me the confidence to learn on my own moving forward.
