Promise Land Family Fun Farm

One of our daughter’s favorite places to visit is Promise Land Family Fun Farm. We have already visited the petting farm three times since they opened for the 2018 season. The petting farm is open daily, from Thurs to Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is $7 (under 24 months is FREE).You can purchase a season membership for four for $85.00. The farm accepts both debit and cash payments.Each visit, we spend about an hour, feeding the animals, walking along the outside animal enclosures, and playing in the three parks.Along with miniature horses, goats, chickens and ducks, some of the unique animals at the farm include alpacas, llamas, a silkie, peacocks and a Patagonian Cavy. The farm sells 3 different sizes of animal feed portions, which allows you to feed the animals. There are informative signs on the outside of each pen that includes a picture and some facts about each animal.The grounds of the farm are fully enclosed with an open concept, which gives my daughter the ability to move freely between the animals and playgrounds. There are also lots of seating areas where we can sit and watch her play.Nan’s Place, which is located by the roadside, has some picnic tables.This is a perfect spot for eating lunch or grabbing a drink and snack.Promise Land also offers birthday parties. Lovely staff! Easy to walk with a toddler or a stroller. They have food you can purchase to feed some of the friendly animals. Also has a little play area for the kids and food on site! Lovely place to take the family. Will definitely go back.

We had a blast at the farm!I was looking for something to do with my 93 year old father and 1.5 year old great niece while visiting from Calgary and this seemed to fit the bill and it did! Even though the website says that the farm is wheelchair accessible, it was a challenge to push the wheelchair in the grass and gravel, but we managed.There were 5 of us and we all enjoyed our lunch from the food truck. My father LOVES his chicken fingers and he said these were some of the best.It was fun feeding the animals - best $4 I've ever spent!We named the Jacob sheep: George and Charlotte.Everything was topnotch - The staff and owners were friendly and informative, the washroom was clean, the food was tasty and the animals were so much fun to pet and feed.A good time was had by ALL - from 1 to 93.Hope to return some day.

I live in Cobourg, On and I have two small children who love Promise Land. We have been going there for a couple of years now and we have never been disappointed. I appreciate that it is a reasonable price (they offer customer loyalty rewards), a decent sized space that is fenced in (my children cannot get lost here!!), a play area with different activities including a stationary play train, there are shaded tables, there are not only goats (really, really cute ones), but there are llamas, donkeys, tons of different birds, rabbits, kittens and locations to host birthday parties. They have special events, I hope we can make it to the Easter Celebration!! I love the staff, they go out of their way to talk to the children and be involved. It is one of the joys of having a place that is not too large, they can interact with their guests, you are not just handed a map of some massive zone and left to your own devices. I also appreciate that they BBQ station provides hamburgers etc that are locally farmed and sourced food. A great local business that I hope to see around for many years!!

First time at the farm today after wanting to go for forever! I was not disappointed and it was even better than I could imagine (hard for me to believe!) They have a great selection of animals and opportunity to touch and interact with most of them. Owners are super nice and helpful. I could spend hours playing the adorable baby sheep and goats. The food is also great!

We went here during Easter for their egg hunt and had a lot of fun. Prices are very reasonable, staff are great and the kids love the animals.

Very peaceful atmosphere. I have been to Promise Land Family Farm at least four times and would love to keep re-visiting. The staff is very nice and polite, so are the owners :). The quality of the food they serve for snack or lunch is very good. The animals are very friendly. Everything is well organized and very convenient to the public. The washrooms are very clean. Lots of swings available for children of all ages and many more activities. In conclusion, great place to be away from home and spend peaceful time with beautiful animals.

Brought my daughter and grandson and we loved every minute of our visit. The grounds were very clean and the animals were lively and we'll cared for. We will definitely make another trip there this summer. Friendly staff and reasonable prices for admission and concession food. Lots of parking available.
