Cherry’s Icy Bar (Parker Place Mall)

A long-standing stall in the Parker Place food court. Very reasonably priced compared to the Icy Bar franchises around town. A large sized Taiwanese Shaved Ice with your choice of eight toppings is $7.25 before tax, compared to a more standard $11-15 at any other sit-down dessert place. I always go for their taro, rice balls/mochi, peanut, barley, red bean, green bean, but all the classic choices are available!

We got the mango with tapioca and red bean with grass jelly. Both drinks had shaved ice and coconut milk. So delicious and a good price for the size!It was my first time having this type of drink. They make it quickly and it was fresh. I will definitely have it again the next time I’m in Parker place.

This is a very good place, but it's just a bit too sweet for me. Since it's a food court there's no atomosphere. But the lady is very nice. Her steamed rice cakes are awesome!Food: 4/5Price: $Come back rate: when I have time

The Taiwanese in me will always pick @icybar as my favourite dessert place. The chewy mochi and the shaved ice just hit the perfect spot every single time. I always choose multiple chewy toppings each time. Love the availability in customizing my dessert too.

Stopped by the original Cherry’s Icy Bar inside the Parker Place food court. Ordered fresh mango & sago icy drink and fresh mango, pomelo, sago special. So refreshing and tasty. Great prices too!!!

The BEST place for Chinese desserts. Friendly service, affordable prices and generous portions. Also, their durian mochi is uniquely amazing.

When we tried to talk to them by the counter, they did not greet us or look at us; one of them continued to face the wall and the other one continued to work at the counter. They could have acknowledged our presence. The female server only turned her head a little from the wall and asked me if it was for here or to-go when I said we wanted the 'eight treasures shaved ice'. I did not know if I should order more because they were unfriendly.When I told her I wanted the tofu pudding, she asked me if I want it to be in a cup or in a bowl. This was surprising because tofu pudding usually comes in a bowl. I told her I want it in a bowl and she asked me do I want any toppings and I said no. Then she said, No toppings for the tofu pudding and you still want it in a bowl." I did not know why she said that because it did not make sense. Maybe she was mad that I did not get any toppings so they could not profit more.Then she asked me what kind of sugar I wanted. I said

The house special has lots of ingredients in it which is nice. Good red bean and fresh soft tofu. Nice chewy mochi. Very sweet at first but once you stir the tofu it’s just right. The sticky rice could have been softer and moister. Overall good but average asian style desserts.
