Today I went to do a curbside pick up for a pair of skates I reserved online. Great communication from the Owners (Shawn & Sean) of this store! I received an email from the Owner personally to let me know my order was ready promptly. When I arrived, the other Owner Sean was super friendly and extremely helpful.Purchasing a new pair of skates for the first time on my own, without having tried on any skates was very challenging. I am not from the Barrie area, but made the trip up specifically to pick up the style skates and size I researched online. I am very happy I did. Sean was beyond helpful and very informative in answering any questions I had to ensure that I was purchasing the right size/style skate. I felt reassured that I was making a great choice in skates.Excellent service from this store and I would definitely recommend anyone purchasing skates and sporting equipment to visit here!!Thank You again for all your help!

Asked for my goalie skates to be sharpened to the goalie specs but the employee just said “ I’ll sharpen them regularly” when I went to play I couldn’t play my position properly

Called the store to see if they had a helmet in stock and spoke to Liam, who advised me they had a few to choose from. When I got to the store Liam promptly came over to help me with fitting a helmet. Super friendly and knowledgeable, and he didn't try to get me to buy the most expensive one they had. That's when you know they actually care about getting you the right equipment for your needs.Liam, I know the helmet I wanted in the end wasn't in stock and that I would have to order it online, which I could've gone anywhere for. My husband ordered a pair of custom design skates on July 14, 2021 and was told they would ready by the end of August. It is now October 21, 2021 and he still does not have his skates. He has been to the store 3 times and he was told the same story each time that they were in production and would be here any day. They promised to follow up with the True Temper Sports Company but failed to provide him with any feedback. Based on this experience and because of the lack of customer service he is giving a one star rating and would not recommend this store to anyone.

Brandon’s knowledge and care in properly fitting skates is incredible. Our son has always had difficulty finding skates that adequately fit his feet and ankles. We were in a few weeks ago and Brandon spent well over an hour determining which skate and fit would work best. Per his suggestion, we waited three weeks for a specific skate to be stocked and when we returned today, he was spot on - the skates fit perfectly! Thank you, Brandon.
