Premier Chess

I had a great hour with Evan. I am a former regular player trying to regain some of my skills and knowledge. He breaks down the game in a straightforward fashion and uses his recent games as practical examples. Can’t wait to play in a live tournament!

Premier Chess came to our Halloween event and the kids had a great time learning to play Chess as they trick or treated throughout the park during the day. It was truly a special treat for the kids and parents. Evan was great with all the kids.

Premier Chess is excellent for improving one's chess. Evan is extremely professional, and all of the Premier Chess instructors have a lot of knowledge. One great thing is that notation is taught right away. This means from the moment a student starts playing, he or she is able to record the moves, go over his or her games, and improve on any mistakes. It also makes it possible to enter chess tournaments shortly after learning the game.

Thank you for responding, Evan. I paid for the whole year of chess classes hoping my child would fulfill her curiosity. Instead, she watched chess videos in class and waited for a teacher who didn't show up neither gave warning. Thank you for offering a cover up AFTER my complaint. We will not continue classes next year.

My son, Jack Silver, and I met National Master Evan Rabin for the first time this past weekend at a chess tournament he hosted in Central Park, NYC. We couldn’t believe it was the first time we met in person as we have gotten to know Master Rabin well in the past couple of years. He gave Jack a wonderful opportunity to assist teaching along with one of his Master teacher’s, Jim West, at my son’s school. Playing chess is one thing, but the opportunity to assist teaching students at his own school was a priceless opportunity. He also interviewed Jack on his podcast about the intersection of chess strategy and reality tv competition strategy! Jack won a very physically competitive realty show on HBO Max called Karma - not by having physical prowess, but using chess tactics and looking many moves ahead. Evan is both extremely professional at whatever the job at hand is (teaching chess, hosting tournaments, running a business and a podcast… he wears many hats and he wears them with ease)! At the recent tournament, I noticed how caring he was toward his younger students - some who were playing in their first ever tournament… he made sure to give a lot of individual attention and give feedback along with praise. He certainly is a Master… in more ways than one. I highly recommend National Master Evan Rabin for lessons in chess, in business, and in life.
