This place is absolutely terrible, both times they completely butchered every service and ruined my nails.The latest time I asked for the dip to be removed, a natural pink to be put on and to keep with a natural rounded shape - no point. She filed every nail into a point which had to be fixed. Overdid the dip and when I asked for it to be smoothed out she left it uneven with mounds of the dip still left on the nails. Because she almost filed some of the colour completely off in places she had to put a coat of shellac overtop to try and even it out. She clumped it on and even put dirt and black specs into the polish that I had to ask be removed. The shellac was thick, uneven and my nails looked as though they had an inch of dried pink plastic on them.I repeatedly asked this to me smoothed out but was ignored and it was never fixed. I stressed this wasn’t what I wanted but was still charged full price. I wish I could send them the bill for the next nail appointment I scheduled immediately after at another business to have them completely redo the mess they made. Don’t ever step foot in this place if you want quality and clean nails. It is utterly terrible.

Omg I can't believe I'm only now leaving this review a year later, oops! My wedding party and I came here the evening before my wedding to get our nails done and I'm so glad this salon was recommended to me in the wedding community. If you're a large enough group (we were 9), they'll reserve the whole salon for your group, have a professional photographer getting candid shots and some posed shots and they served complimentary prosecco! On top of that, the service and ambiance was amazing, the prices were extremely fair and you get a discount if you pay in cash. Our visit here made my wedding weekend that much more special. ❤️

Blue Haven is the best nail salon I've ever been to. They did a fabulous job on our pedicures and didn't leave us waiting excessive amounts of time under the drier. The employees were all super polite, professional and lovely. Its been several weeks and my toes still look great. This will be my go-to salon from now on!!

I have been going to Blue Haven for over 5yrs and this place is amazing. May is exceptional and always goes above and beyond, my nails always look amazing. Tammy can put you to sleep with her foot massage. The whole staff is so friendly, by far the best location I have ever visited. ♥️

They always take the time to do my nails perfectly, and have been great for late minute appointments. They even got my friend in for a last minute appointment the day before her wedding which was super appreciated! They have a great colour selection and it’s always super clean.

I previously visited and left a 4⭐️ review, due to a not so stellar gel manicure experience! However, after two other visits they deserve 5⭐️’s! The customer service, ambience, cleanliness, and attention to detail are all on point. I recently went with my sister for a mani and pedi, and she too is thrilled with the place. I highly recommend Tammy if you are looking for a tech who pays attention to detail; she ensured I was happy with the shape of my nails! Everyone here is great, I was talked into stepping out of my comfort zone with my mani colour and at first I didn’t like it! However, the colour has grown on me! Thank you for always making my self-care days heavenly when visiting Ottawa!

After you were my favorite place for almost a year. In the not the last visit the one before, there were a lot of customers, and the spa specialist worked very quickly, and I wasn’t satisfied with the result, even she was trying to respond to me, but not for everything I asked her. I said that she might be in a bad mood that day. Today I decided to visit them again to give a chance that my thoughts wrong and it was worse. When I called and asked for an appointment for a manicure and pedicure, and Acrylic . In the beginning, there were few customers and she worked professionally, and then when the number started increasing, she painted the nails without cleaning them, and when I asked her, she answered that we don’t clean nails with acrylic, sounds like I’m lying and asked her colleague who worked for me last time, and she confirmed what her colleague said. I am sure that cleaning is part of the manicure. I paid the for full service and I am dissatisfied and resentful of the transaction. I am not lying, and the pictures are the evidence.
