The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - South Pointe
Wonderful dinner and incredible service from Mika. Pepper wings were great and the Peppercorn Steak as well as the half rack ribs were greatly enjoyed. Forced off the patio by a rain storm and the manager was quite accommodating to seat us inside. All in all a fantastic evening.

We went here last night for our anniversary. I have buyers remorse this morning from spending so much on steaks that had zero char on them and not much flavour.The steak looked like it was from a microwave dinner. I cannot recommend this location from this experience.Aside from the uncomfortably hot dining room and very loud techno playing , the steaks were also poorly cooked.Wine was good..

My partner and I came to celebrate our anniversary and it was beyond amazing! Our server Amy was so generous and made our night feel so special and made everything on the menu sound delicious. Great food!!! I had the Sirloin Oscar which was fantastic, perfect medium rare. My partner had the peppercorn new york and also amazing! The manager came to congratulate us and made sure everything was good, which made our night feel very respected. We will definitely come back for another occasion or date night. Thank you to Amy & Farrel for such amazing service!

We came here after a disappointing celebration dinner at a different restaurant. We came at 7 pm on a Saturday (with reservations), so it was absolutely popping!We started with soups and salad (not pictured). The Ceasar salad was standard and tasty. The lobster bisque was rich, creamy, and full of lobster flavor with just the right kick of salt (my fav of the evening). The French onion soup was rich and cheesey but could have used more broth.For our mains, we enjoyed the prime rib and the pistachio crusted salmon. The prime rib was cooked nicely and very tender, and the vegetables and twice baked potato were really tasty as well. The salmon was perfectly cooked but lacked a little in seasoning / flavor. The brussels and mashed potatoes were solid and cooked well.We finished our night off with a shared creme brule, and it was the perfect way to end a really nice meal. It was sweet without being overly so, and the perfect size for two!Our sever was very kind but incredibly busy. He did an amazing job running around taking care of everyone.Overall, we had a really nice meal and will likely return at some point.

The keg southpointe area is a nice place to dine in with or without the kids. Quality of food is very commendable. I normally order calamari in any restaurant we go to and I will say The Keg has served us a very good one. The steak I ordered was very good. The server may have been too tired for the day probably that's why I kind a felt he is not as joyful as he would normally. Over all kudos to everyone that day as me and my wife celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary .

Went here for dinner and we're very happy overall. Reservation was pretty much right on time. Food was delicious. Really happy to see that they have vegan options now so we can finally go. The vegan meatloaf was very good. My wife had the salmon and enjoyed it as well. Service was excellent, we had Lexi serving us and she was friendly, attentive and quick with her service. It is a bit noisy in this restaurant but otherwise no complaints.

My wife and I went there for our anniversary and this has always been a place we go to for special occasions and we had no regrets. The service was exceptional. Our server Fahad took extra care of us, always there for us to fill our water, refill our drinks and tidy up our tables without being disruptive or intrusive. Even the manager came by twice to check on us. They even gave us a dessert for free, a super delicious mile high chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache. Their bread they served at the start was delicious. Crusty outside but super soft inside. The appetizer we got was delicious as well, crispy cauliflower with ginger sesame sauce. The entrees we got were super tasty, pistachio crusted salmon and prime rib. All in all, a very memorable evening, thanks to our server Fahad and the manager.

Steakhouse in Calgary which my family has talked about for a while. Finally went but didn't order steak. Instead, i went with the salmon. I'm glad i did as the pistachio salmon was so juicy and tender. Everyone else ordered steak, either prime rib or sirloin, everyone enjoyed their meal. All steaks were made according to their request and all dishes came with the option of mashed potatoes or baked potato.For appetizer, we ordered the calamari, which was fried just right leaving the calamari soft but chewy.Of course, after the entree, we had to try their dessert. Billy miner pie and creme brulee. Can't go wrong with either option. The Billy Miner pie is quite big so be prepared to share this.

The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - South Pointe
The Keg is one of our favorite restaurants to celebrate at because the food is always consistent! This was my first time at this particular venue.The photos attached are of the Filet Mignon Classic dinner with a Caesar salad. Our waiter (Hector) was fantastic. Our drinks were always full and he even included a piece of cheesecake for our daughter's graduation. Great food, great atmosphere and excellent service!
