All they need is access to enough dressing rooms for larger teams, decent scoreboard, a set of flagpoles and some other sideline amenities such as access to tables and player benches to complete the field.

Great place to workout running game the track. Good cushion on your knees and feet. Washrooms aren't even opened by 8 am

Greater Vernon Athletics Park
It was my first time to the Vernon Athletics Park in a while. I am impressed with how much it has expanded.There is a track, a multi purpose soccer and football field, sheds, public bathrooms, water bottle refill station, a shotput/batting cage. Plenty of room for kids to run around.It's not a bad spot to exercise for over an hour.

My kids loved it here for there track and field for their school. You could also come just to walk around the track day or night. It's under the lights at night if it dark out.

What a beautifully constructed track and field. Has a water foundation for both drinking and filling your water bottle, and very clean washrooms.

All of the publicly open facilities are great. There's an artificial turf football field with running track around it. There are washrooms, benches and water fountains. No admission fees, just share the field with whoever is there.

Failed in many ways during construction. No score board, bleachers should have had a roof, sound system is required, sounds deadening wall between the highway and the bleachers, should have had stairs up from the track area, storage areas underneath the bleachers, to name a few of my perceived shortages.
