BMO Bank of Montreal

Inexperienced and incompetent cashiers. Short staffed. Management is even worse. Plan to wait at least an hour to do a 1 min transaction that needs to go through the cashiers. I am a die hard BMO client, and highly recommend all potential and future clients to go to any other location.

OMG terrible, I just needed to deposit a U/S cheque which you can't do thru the ATM, Only 6 people ahead of me and it took one hour??? the manager came by to tell me it wouldn't be long, when I told him it was already too long he walked away??? run away...they can't keep the staff, it's terrible...

They have been there for me always. People don't realize that these ( front line) workers are here for us. The Doctors and nurses yes....the grocery store clerks yes....why not the bank tellers and bank managers? I think we've all lost the capability to recognize just how much we need each other. BMO IS HERE TO HELP!

Good morning everyone: I am very disappointed, dissatisfied and hopeless by this location. I am stressed, absent from my work for some days, and I keep spending money from my own pocket to erase their mistakes. I have a big problem with them. This mistake was made by their new and inexperienced employees a few years ago, and now I am in big trouble because of their mistakes. I am so confused as to who to contact and where to start? in order to save myself from the penalty that I did not even do. I would like to know, how and where to find the legal advice?Actually, when I call them they are polite and professional, but they just avoid my case and tell me that they do not know. They promise me that they will call me regarding my file , but unfortunately ,they never call me. I continue searching to find the legal ways, and I keep talking to the bank management to resolve my problems with them. Let’s see what will happen? I am not happy.

Was told we don't cash quebec government checks lol where's montreal from France....Law states You have the right to cash your Government of Canada cheque at any bank for free, even if you’re not a customer. Why was I escorted out of your bank. After showing proof to Manger he said not at my bank. I didn't know I was going to someone's private bank did you?

Worst branch ever. It took over a year for them to file paperwork to remove my name from a mortgage, I've had to go in 3 times to cancel an account because the first 2 times they said they did it and the account wasnt closed, and recently I had to change account information and it wasn't done properly so I have to go back in and waste my time. Do yourself a favor and choose a better bank.

Took 2 or 3 call to reach them, but then they were efficient and called me back multiple times to keep me updated on the process.

No matter what time of day I come to this branch the line up is really long, tellers are few and slow, which means the wait time time is 20 to 30 min. on average. Absolutely unacceptable!

We got our mortgage with BMO through this branch. We have had so many problems due to errors on the side of the bank. Yet, it has been up to my husband and I to fix the problems.They caused issues with the notary, had us drive to the bank twice to give them cheques because of their screw-up, gave us documentation in French - when my husband has only spoken to them in English and not answered our emails unless we asked to speak to management.I cannot stress enough how one should choose a different bank to get their mortgage. I am incredibly disappointed we're locked in for five years with them.Edit - two weeks later - while BMO commented on my review, as you can see, they never responded to the email I sent to the address indicated. This highlights everything I said above.

I am not supposed to have monthly charges of 15.95$. Since I joined this bank 7 months ago, I keep being charged and have to send emails every months to get the refund. For the past 3 months, I sent emails to 2 employees but keep being ignored! 1st email sent on April 2nd, second email sent on April 17th, third email sent on April 30th but still no answer/follow up from both employees!!! Very poor service! Next step, calling the head office and make an official complaint against both employees!
