This was such an awesome cooking experience with my colleagues. Chef Anthony and his talented crew made us feel like we could be the best cooks in our homes. We received a ton of tricks and trips for cooking and they made it so much fun! Although it was our first meeting with Anthony, Brett and Stetson, it felt like we were cooking with friends we hadn't seen in a long time and we just picked up where we left off, swapping family and work stories. Thank you!!

Wow. Justine, Anthony and their team. Wow. They are the friendliest people you will ever meet. They recently just catered our wedding. It was a perfect day and their food was DELICIOUS. I can’t even put in words how tasty their food was you just HAVE to try it. They work with any budget you have and still come up with a fabulous, mouth watering, tasty menu. I can’t wait for the next time I need an event catered. I will be going with this company for every event in the future.Thank you for helping making our day perfect!!!

Went to the cooking class and had an amazing experience. 10/10. Chefs are very knowledgeable and teach you an array of cooking techniques while cooking fantastic dishes. Would recommend to absolutely anybody. Thank you!

Best place in Hamilton. Anthony & Justine are amazing people - they care so much about their customers and the quality of the food they put out and are constantly creating new and delicious items!! We moved away and miss this place so much for quick lunches, grocery items, unique pantry items, as well as classics, and just friendly chats!

Such a great team building event! Chef Anthony (or Chef T-Bone" as he affectionately likes to be called) and Justine were wonderful hosts! It was an interactive team cooking session with the right amount of playful Ramsey energy from the staff. Not to mention the food was incredible as we got to enjoy the fruits of our labour. Me and my wife participated in the couples cooking class and it was one of the best experiences we ever had - a must try for everyone!Chef Anthony and Chef Justine did an amazing job explaining the techniques required to master culinary excellence. The class was very interactive and engaging. Chef Anthony's techniques and jokes paired with Chef Justine's poise created an unforgettable evening.They truly made us feel at home. Wow what a great place! Anthony and staff are super friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I tried the pepperoni pizza for the first time (amazing!). I also tried the buffalo chicken wrap which was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. They offer tons of selection everything fresh and made in house. I couldn’t help myself so I picked up the vegan parsnip sweet potato soup to bring home because it sounded so delicious and also grabbed a beef and sweet potatoe lasagna! SO GREAT THANK YOU! I highly suggest you try and support this great local establishment. You won’t be disappointed!!

I just finished taking the cooking classes at Gastro Market.It was so much fun.At first I was a little hesitant and even intimidated, but soon realized it was going to be a great course and found that many other people in the class were around the same skill level as myself.All the techniques, recipes, and skills I learned made me enjoy cooking even more, expanded my ability to cook different things, and helped me create some dishes on my own.Chef Anthony's style of teaching, along with his jokes, ( some good, some....well.......lol) and laid back style made everyone feel at home.I enjoyed it so much that I signed my wife and I up for a couples cooking class.

I had the cold cut sandwich it hit the spot for my craving of an Italian sandwich. The bread needed salt, nice portions the flavours were pretty mild. It did take a hot minute for them to make the sandwich but they have a really nice general store and we’re bumping old Lady Gaga so I didn’t really notice the wait!Would I order this again? Probably not a little to bland for me but is a very cute lunch spot with a lovely pantry.
