After hearing that Overland had been revoked their Master Up-fitter accreditation, I was reluctant to take my Sprinter there, but had no choice. Once I dropped off my van there I soon found out why and they operated like a supplier with a clientele that has no choice. Extensive delays with poor communication, I was eventually told they would not do the work Marc had promised. Marc told me one owner didn't have time for such a small job (after I had driven out there and dropped it off and waited one month) while the owner said he couldn't do it". Not sure what the point of unfitting is. Be very wary of working with these guys."

Mr. Mawer's review is terribly misleading. Overland Explorer is still and always has been a Master Upfitter in good standing. You will find them listed on the Mercedes-Benz Master Upfitter portal under Lite Industries - which is the other side of their company. In regards, to the upfit Mr. Mawer was referring to, they will not install used seats into a van due to the inability to verify the safety of the seat and they do not want to expose themselves to unnecessary liability. As a Transport Canada certified shop they will only do things by the book - which is the way it should be!! They guarantee their workmanship and do an excellent job on their installs. Arnold and Marc are great people to work with. They have built our van and we are still adding things to it as we go. The quality of work is far better than other van builders out of US. They have always found solutions to the requirements we had.

I have had two campers built by Overland Explorer. I am continually impressed by the quality of materials & workmanship. The engineering & attention to detail are top notch. Every time I use my camper I am impressed all over again by their product.I can recommend them without hesitation or reservation.
