The best!! If you're looking to design your new home or addition/modification you should not look further.These guys are the very best. I used them to design a home addition. Am a detail-oriented guy so went into a deep-deep dive on everything with multiple design iterations. They patiently listened and took me through all possibilities and steered me into decisions while respecting my ideas.Lastly, when Waterloo City threw a couple of curveballs, they responded and even went out of their way to follow-up directly with the City and close it (they were not mandated to.. I was applying, so they could have communicated via me and taken 4 times as long, but they just went ahead and made life easy for me).I am so happy my friend Russell referred me to them. We've been working with DJ Design to help us design our dream home. They've been professional, detail oriented, and have designed a functional floor plan that we love.

Derek created a plan for our deck based upon some key features we wanted. With those plans we built our own deck, passed inspection by the city (who were great by the way, very helpful), and cant wait to have him back for our house remodel this year.

Three years ago I started a new build on a home and my first point of contact was DJ designs, I spoke with Derek who was absolutely amazing to deal with, quick and responsive. He got My drawing started with me with the help of his colleague Who is absolutely professional and accommodating. I am now selling the home I built and building another home with the help of DJ designs!! Highly recommend this company!
