Do not rent from any homestead. I cannot enjoy our home with all the cigarettes smoking next door. I have health issues ,my son has asthma. The office employees are rude and don't care at all. They will pick the phone up and hang up. They will tell you do whatever you want . As we got in the stove is patch up and tilted, the bath tub is stripping and the paint they did over the facet, you get to see all the rust in it. If you want pictures I can . Terrible place to live. No customer service. No help, nothing!Oh I have to give a star to post . For me its a no star.

Honestly a horrible company! They took over Island Park Towers, and amenities that we pay for such as AC- have not been turned on and it's JUNE! Every year they give the excuse of the chiller is broken" and make false promises of having maintenance done

What complete incompetence from the building staff and management. The staff regularly skips cleaning, noone is ever in the office and noone will reply to your email. They will give you outstanding rent balances that are listed as wrong amount, wrong notices of entry and somehow it is the tenant's job to find anyone to correct those mistakes. Never again renting from Homestead.

My building was sold to Homestead. Used to be a great place to live and despite the name, it feels now like I live in an institution. There is little respect shown to tenants when it comes to entering your unit which in my building they seem to have to do FREQUENTLY. You are handed a notice with vague to incorrect information as to what exactly they need to do and the usual time window is all day 8-5 sometimes it's even 2 days which shows no regard for shift workers. I would email the property Manager about this but it's rare that an email is responded to.

Unaccountable, they say they will fix something, then a year later there are problems. In Thornhill they bought out a slum lord building, and they are carrying on the same way with the tenants that already live here. They redid the washing machines and a year to date it still leaks, we have to swim to do laundry. They are too cheap to turn on the automatic sprinklers. Then there is the balconies they redid, except the bottom floors, no balcony, however the balconies have absolutely no privacy. How can one work from home during covid with all this drilling and noise.

More like Homestead Money Holdings. Shadiest landlords I've ever dealt with and I never even had the misfortune of living in one of their properties.Homestead took a $1275 application deposit [which is an offence under section 234 (l) of the Residential Tenancies Act, with a maximum fine of $250,000 under section 238 (2)]They took over a month to refund me after denying my application. I had to borderline harass them to get a refund, talking to multiple different people none of whom would give me a straight answer about when my money would be refunded. I'm sure they collected plenty of interest on that money while it sat in their bank instead of being returned to me. Eventually I got my money back but it wasn't easy. I'm sure these scammers would love to take your money and run.

Homestead is awful, specifically 200 The Parkway. Cockroaches in the units, the building smells like cigarettes, the Superintendants do absolutely nothing except harass tenants, and there’s currently no heat in the building and it’s winter. Do not rent from these slumlords.

I'm a tenant at 94 Wright Crescent where there is supposed to be access to a rooftop pool during the summer months. However, this year they didn't open it until the end of June, and when we go to use it, we find it unexpectedly closed, with no explanation given. Its not a great way to treat tenants.

I live in Nottingham towers in sarnia Ontario which is Homestead property.. the employees by the name Davis shares tenants private information about income and personal things they are the definition of slum lords DO NOT RENT FROM THESE AWFUL LANDLORD'S
