The Waters Edge Inn

We had reservations for one night on December 17. The reservation and check in processes were very smooth. Room was clean and the view from the deck along the Trent was beautiful! Would definately stay there again!

I’ve stayed at the The Waters Edge Inn on a number of occasions over the past two years. The Inn is located minutes from the main downtown area of Campbellford, yet in a quite and peaceful location along the river. All of the rooms (except I believe one) have water views, comfortable beds, 4 piece bathrooms with good counter space, and a table and chair(s) for work/eating. The rooms I stayed in varied in size and layout, but all had a fridge, microwave and were well appointed with nice touches like coffee pods, water and toiletry items. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay, with lots of wonderful attractions close by.

We stayed here for our wedding! Our entire wedding party stayed in separate rooms & it worked out so perfectly. Since there's two levels of the motel the guys were able to stay out of sight from us girls the morning of the wedding, yet we were all close enough for the photographer to get pics of both of us getting ready! The motel itself was nice. The floors were fairly dirty (our feet turned black without wearing slippers or socks),But other than that no complaints! The view of the river the morning of was so beautiful. A perfect way to wake up the morning of our wedding! Beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was well stocked with towels. I stayed in the Sr Suite, which was enough room for me & the bridesmaids to get ready in the morning! I'd definitely stay here again with my now husband for a weekend getaway.

The washroom is way too small. They need a larger shower, a larger space for the toilet. If you turn the tap on full at the bathroom sink, the water goes onto the floor. They also need towel racks. The bedroom area is spacious. Both rooms are very clean. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. This was my second time staying here but won't again because the bathroom is too uncomfortable.

Visited during the weekend for one night. We booked Sr. Suite (201). The overall ambiance of the location is worth visiting the place. The room is located near the river and the deck is close-by. We took a lot of pictures and the only negative we felt is the mattress. We felt that it was not a single king-size mattress and instead it is just 2 twin-size mattresses, the reason being one side is higher than the other. Other than that, we do recommend this place.

We stayed for family long weekend in the sr suite and I must say how happy and impressed we were of overall quality and the little touch of cookies that the kids went straight for , and talk about sitting on your bed looking out to the natures calm water and bright sun with a cup of coffee that they provided was my best part , can’t wait to visit again .

The rooms are nice, cozy, comfortable, and clean! And the location is in the main area of Campbellford too. One thing I liked was that the room was very clean and the linen etc looked new. Reasonable price too.

We've stayed there twice and would stay again. Great value for the price . Rooms are updated and nice , clean and comfortable bed. Close to town .

The place is nice and comfortable. They provide coffee pods and creme and cookies for the morning or night whatever you prefer.There are nice touches to the rooms with nice toiletries, bath robes and the view is nice with that cup of coffee or a glass of wine.Many restaurants around to walk or drive too. We have already booked to come back.

Staff was really friendly, including the cleaning crew. Place was just the right size, great views on the river. Price was ok for on the river. I'd stay there again.
