Despite their excellent selection, and knowledgeable staff, they have stuff that's a bit pricey, although I find online shopping to be much more economical. I spent a little time there, and the restrooms are very, very super clean, as well as the store as a whole. Great customer service.

This is an 'okay' place to shop or pick up parts.The parking is terrible and the lumber yard is worse. They say they can order everything you need, but typically I need things when I show up, not 2 days from then.I default to using this place because there's simply no competition in town. This is one of the downsides living in a small town.I wish they had a better facility then it might make it a little ore enjoyable, but until then I'll remain frustrated and curse under my breath everytime I go!

I purchased MDF lengths for a home project and was inadvertently overcharged. The staff member who cut the lengths, the cashier and I did not notice the miscalculation at the time of processing the sale.When I realized the error, I returned to the store the next day, August 7th, with my receipt and pictures of what I had bought. Sunday's cashier (a different person) VERY reluctantly processed the credit, making it clear through her words and behavior that she thought me a liar and thief. Her behavior was witnessed by one, possibly two, colleagues and other customers in the check-out line-up. It was unprofessional and uncalled for.On the plus side, the store had the product I needed and the two moulding technicians were superb ambassadors for the store. This would have warranted a 5-star rating if the story had ended there.

I eventually get what I need but asking the staff for help makes you feel that you’re bothering them. They don’t even smile.

This is a quaint little store. Better yet, the people are amazing!! I was looking for wrenches and a glasses cleaning kit. Sadly, there were no wrenches bigger than 7/8ths, and no glasses cleaning kits. However, the kindest lady behind the till ran and grabbed me two Zeiss wipes from her purse. I feel so very blessed and appreciative. So, I can't steal any stars from a place with such fine people working in it. Thank you Lady Lens Wipes.

Rick and the whole staff went out of their way to make our shopping experience the best it could be. We came all the way from Regina SK to get exactly what we wanted. Thank you, Thank you!!!n

Found parking quickly and near the door parking lot was well maintained. Entrance was well organized and uncluttered. The stores layout was efficient and items easy to find. Store clerks were visible and easy to find and when approached informative and polite. Did not find what I was looking for since the item was sold out. Convenient location and will return in the future.

Remember Totem Lumber in Calgary and how accomodating, knowledgable, and courteous the staff were? This is better than Totem.

Seems they always have what I need compared to the other big 3 box stores... Made in Canada garant snow shovel, ergonomic handle... and shoe goop... I live on the west end of the city so not a big deal to drive a bit further to get exactly what I need...
