The Coronation dam is a beautiful place, it's quiet and very clean. It has a brand new shower house and laundry facility. the dam is also stocked with trout each year. The campground offers pull through sites with 50 Amp and 30 Amp services with sewer and water hookups as well. They also allow electric powered boats and kayaking. Along the north side they have a bird sanctuary were many times native birds can be found. It's a really awesome place to go during the summer fair, rodeo and pro bull riding.

Fishing, camping, a wildlife viewing dock, rodeo grounds, and a massive group site. New showers and token operated laundry. It's the best!

Read about this area online and thought that it sounded like a great place for an anniversary picnic and some fishing. Wow! It was even better than we expected. A beautiful and clean spot with clean and plentiful washrooms. Had a peek at the showers and they look fantastic and are NOT coin op! Yay! Enjoyed our picnic, visited with random strangers, brought home four gorgeous rainbow trout, and had a fantastic day. We’ll be booking a week to camp before the end of August! I just wish I could find a site map for the campsites online. EDITED TO ADD: We did return for a whole week at the beginning of September. Just myself, my husband, and our dog. We’re two retirees in a tent trailer. What a glorious week! My husband spent every day fishing, meeting people, and teaching kids to fish. We lost count at 39 fish caught. We had two big meals ourselves, the dog had one, we brought one home for my mother, and he sent many kids back to the campsite with their own fish to show off. The rest were released back. I enjoyed the trees, the peacefulness, and a good book. Since we were there after labour day the showers were closed, a bit of a disappointment but not the end of the world. We inadvertently booked on Rodeo weekend but even that didn’t break the solace of the campsite. I can’t say anything bad about the weekend. Oh, I was awoken at 3am by some trucks high beams pointed right into my camper, but in all honestly that’s due to the nature of a tent trailer. We were so nicely tucked away in the trees I don’t think that they even knew that we were there and turned their lights off when I, sleepily, went out in my jammies and wild sleep hair to ask them to turn them off. All in all it was one of the best weeks ever. We look forward to going back!

It is a very nice place to take kids fishing and have a family day at the pond. But as far as for camping I would never camp there because of the person that runs it is very rude and and crude he started yelling at us infront of our children and for what nothing he does not know how to approach ppl at all if he approunched ppl different then ppl wouldn’t wanna knock his teeth out I have never In my life encountered anyone like this in all my years of camping but here !! Please be very aware when thinking about camping here.

We just came to the campground to fish at the trout pond with our 3 kids. The 2 younger boys hadn't done much fishing and they loved it here. There are some great off shore spots to cast out without tangling in weeds and the pond was nice and clean.

Quite spacious sites, lots of workers staying there, so it was quite quiet earlier then some campgrounds (but lots of trucks starting and leaving early in the am.)but equal amount of families camping. Good little fishing spot

We stayed for 6 days at this camp site Requested to be able to stay in sites 11/12/13/14 and were told they were all reserved for camp workers these sites are well treaded and perfect for families and campers and close to main playground and facilities However with these sites being empty we were told they were full after our 6 days we requested to move to one of these sites as they were still empty and were denied Found attendant to be quite rude and not very accommodating we would have stayed another 4,5,6 days
